My boyfriend and I decided to take the drive out to sunny Palm Springs to have lunch at Livs located at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Everything was phenomenal! We arrived around 1pm and was seated right away on their patio, our server Giselle greeted us right away and recommended us some amazing cocktails. We had the Mai Tai and their Margarita both were delicious. For food we ordered the Lobster roll which was amazing and had a generous portion of lobster. My boyfriend had the chicken curry sandwich and my daughter ordered the Livs Burger which I must say was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! We finished it off with some chocolate chip cookies, and a cherry almond latte made with their house made syrup and it was delicious!! Afterwards we took a stroll around the museum because it was family day and they had arts and crafts/activities for the kids which was a fun way to spend our Sunday! I definitely can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu! Livs is such a hidden gem in Palm Springs and definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area! Highly...
Read moreThis is an absolutely fabulous place to have a meal! The parking is easy (covered garage or lot to right in front of it on the right side of the museum) and the staff and food made for a great experience. We love the space with the bright welcoming colors and the option to sit inside and outside. When I booked in June and saw that there was patio seating I thought “who would sit outside!?” but then when we went down into the patio space it was cool and lovely even on a very hot day. We did end up sitting inside, which was very comfortable.
The food had great portions, at first we thought they were small, but they were just the right size. All the cocktails and drinks we had were delicious and the server was very kind to work with us on making sure we knew what vegan options were available for one of our party.
We love that you didn’t have to buy a museum ticket to dine but it got us thinking about how much we want to visit the museum anyway!
Will definitely be here again and look forward to even dining on a night of...
Read moreStopped in on Thursday night for dinner after visiting the museum. On Thursdays they are open late for Village Fest and in addition to their regular menu offering breakfast items, sandwiches, and salads, they also offer an evening menu with pizzas and other specials.
We ordered baba ganoush, a Caesar salad and a pizza diavola to share. The food was much better than I expected. The baba gaboush was creamy and served with warm flatbread. The romaine in the Caesar was crisp and cold, nicely dressed and topped with anchovies. And last but not least, I think I've found my favorite pizza in the valley. Super thin crust with edges that were bubbly, light and charred in spots from the oven. It also contained the right amount of toppings, keeping the thin crust crisp.
It's a pleasant environment inside, as well as out with tables placed in the sculpture garden. I would definetly make a plan to visit on Thursday evening and I'll be sure ,to return to try them for lunch and again for...
