Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Palmdale

We visited Nothing Bundt Cakes twice over their opening weekend - once on Saturday and again on Sunday. Our Saturday visit was at 5:30 pm, 30 minutes before closing, so it was no surprise that they were out of some of their cake flavors. On Sunday we visited at 11:00 am, about an hour after opening, and the inventory was well stocked. At both of our visits we were assisted by very pleasant counter servers who took and filled our orders. Evidently, carrot cake was sold out Saturday before our arrival and wasn't going to be back on the menu until sometime the following week. That was somewhat disappointing, but we turned our disappointment into an opportunity to try some flavors we hadn't yet experienced. I personally tried chocolate chocolate chip, lemon, strawberries and cream, Oreo cookies and cream, and snickerdoodle. All were fantastic with well-balanced flavor and a cream cheese frosting that didn't overpower the cake flavor by being too sweet. Of those that I sampled, it would be impossible to choose a favorite, but snickerdoodle, strawberries and cream, and lemon were my top three. The shop is clean and inviting, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the product is absolutely delicious. So I don’t want to give a negative review regarding the Bundt cakes because they were great, BUT the customer service needs some work. I had lost my dog a couple weeks ago (5/9/23) and I decided to get a Bundt cake for the person that found him as a gift in return. I placed my order online and it was ready at the time presented, but when I walked in the store nobody was in the front, all the workers were in the back and there was one that you can see just glued to the computer. No hello or please what a minute, another girl walked from the back and just said “can I help you”. I usually get mine from down below(LA or Glendale)on my way back from work, or my kids bring it. Though I did have one delivered from this location this past June...yes it was devine! I won't personally shop(walk-in) at this location due to the heavily negative reviews about customer service. After one or two negative reviews, most managers will get the hint to either re-train or replace the staff, so this makes the management suspect of being the root cause of the ongoing complaints.
