While I have debated posting a review, I think others deserve to have a better experience than I did. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Zales. At first, the team at Palmdale Zales was very kind and helpful. I was interested in getting my brand new engagement ring resized and finding a wedding band to pair. I wanted to resize them all at the same time so I could keep track of them all. A very nice lady helped me find my wedding band. We bought two wedding bands and waited for them to come in. When we received all rings, I wanted to send them all at the same time to be resized. Now- this is where the long list of problems begin. January 10, I dropped my rings off with Anthony (manager) and we spoke about resizing my rings to 6.5. There was a miscommunication- Anthony had thought/assumed that I wanted all of the rings soldered together. I did not ask for this. My intention was to only get them sized at the same time- not soldered. We never spoke or discussed anything except for resizing. January 22, my fiancé went to pick up my rings because they were back from the shop. We discovered that all of my rings had been soldered together. I was crushed that the repair had not been what I asked for or was discussed when previously working with Anthony. I called to discuss the mistake with the store. I spoke to a few associates who tried to be very helpful and get the new repair (taking the rings apart) expedited. After she helped to begin the repair process, I asked to speak with the manager, Anthony. This was the most disappointing conversation and customer service experience that I have maybe ever received. Anthony was extremely argumentative and dismissive of my experience at their store thus far. He continuously argued with me, stating that he would never have assumed what I asked for. -Except for personal reasons, our wedding will not be for a bit, I would have NEVER asked for soldered rings right now, I am not married. -He refused to admit any fault, give any apology, or be anything but extremely rude. He interrupted me during our conversation, I am frankly shocked he is the manager. Again when I finally picked up my rings, on January 30- he treated me the same way. I am just so tremendously disappointed with my first experience with Zales. I am saddened that this was my first experience after just getting engaged recently after Christmas. I received no apology. I received little to no care from some of your employees, mostly the manager Anthony, and I wouldn’t recommend this store for your fine jewelry purchases. Read moreI am SO DISAPPOINTED with zales at the AV MALL & zales manager ANTHONY that really didn't show any customer service. I took in a item to be fixed & ANTHONY assured me of a timeframe of retrieving my item back. I gave zales a few extra days due to the holidays to get the item back. I went into get the item just to be told that my item wasn't there & actually ANTHONY seemed perplexed on the whereabouts of the item. I then was very upset fighting traffic, driving the distances to be disappointed. I then got a phone call later that day saying the item would be there the next day, to drive back & find out it still wasn't there. By this point I was very angry. Oh let me say this was a christmas gift and it's the 23rd of December & I don't have my item. I finally went in on christmas eve to get my item where another customer was also complaining too. My item was finally there, am thinking that everything was over. Now ANTHONY wants to charge me some outrage price that he didn't quote me on the very first time we talked. Then ANTHONY went back to the original price from the beginning & still gave me back more change. That was a red flag for me so I took my item to another jewelry to make sure it was still the item with the same stones. That jewelry then stated to me after I told them why I was there that it's something fishy going on with zales cause I'm not the only customer that has came to them complaining about zales customer service & ANTHONY. I believe that ANTHONY is not manager material, due to the strange way he was acting. So I have decided to take further action to prevent this from happening to anyone...
Read moreWe went there for the first time before Mother's Day 2018. I wanted to look for an engagement ring for my girlfriend when we went into the store we were greeted by very nice people and sales associate named "Pearl" she helped us out and it was above and beyond.She explained to us and showed us anything my girlfriend was looking for. On top of that she try's to make reasonable Deals or Sales for jewelry. Once again we were there last night 12-7-18 and once again she was outstanding on helping us find what we wanted explain to us the do's and the don'ts and making the customer feel satisfied with their purchase. We were there with our children and the Other Employees were great interacting with my children which we very much appreciated especially when you're at a jewelry store trying to make a serious purchase for a lot of money. It is very difficult at times with young kids.... All I can say is Thank You for being so kind to me and my family....
