So my son decided that he wanted spaghetti for dinner so I said well maybe we should go try Olive Garden and see if they have some good spaghetti so we came here and we got spaghetti. My son loved it. Everything was fresh. Everything was good and I loved the atmosphere everything was clean. Everybody was nice. It’s very peaceful very classy and it was kid friendly my is son 7 years He’s full and enjoyed the experience but I really came on to talk about my server Ari was super helpful. She was patient. She was genuine. She worked with my son. She did not rush us. There was no rush. She gave me as much cheese as I wanted she made me feel super comfortable. I even made a big spill. She told me don’t even worry about it. She had me everything was great. She was very patient. She definitely cared. She took her time out to listen. She never rushed. She came &assisted me, even though I am disabled, she came in, assisted me &took care of me &made me feel really good me and my son Ari definitely did her thing she was great one of the best servers I’ve had in a restaurant like this. I have no complaints. I have nothing bad to say the food was great our server was wonderful. I would definitely recommend her 10 out of 10 as far as customer service &whoever the hiring manager is they did an excellent job of hiring. They knew what they were doing &they know a good person when they see one OLIVE GARDEN if you guys are seeing this you guys need to give her a raise because she did her thing. She’s a great server &she deserves all her flowers she’s a beautiful genuine human being.because of Ari I definitely will be coming back here her customer service was top tier !!!! Oh yeah viewers u might wanna get down here to Olive Garden because they have a limited time only special for buy one take one where it starts with never-ending salad or soup &breadsticks that you can buy one entree eat it at the restaurant and you can even upgrade it they have upgrade entrées for a few extra bucks &then you take one home before you leave. It’s a really good deal &it starts at about $16 and then I’m talking about the restaurant now the restaurant was clean, friendly staff the parking it was kind of busy so what I did was I circled the parking lot a few times I realized it wasn’t much parking close to the door so what I did was, I decided to call in to Olive Garden and I saw that when I went online that they had the option to get on the waiting list you could even do it online or you can actually call the actual restaurant I was on the phone with them for a few minutes and then I talked to the staff &she was able to put me on the waiting list from outside &she told me that they will text me when it’s my turn to come inside, so that was very convenient. I walked right in They asked my name I gave my name they had me seated within about two minutes &after that we seated so I’m gonna say I went in the parking lot & I waited at a far parking spot until I saw one open &then I parked by the time I parked They text me &told me to come in my seats are ready so I came in. They see us and so from the parking lot the parking and everything it took about a total of about 16 minutes for me to park the car get inside &be seated with everything so it wasn’t too bad of a wait seeing that. It was dinner time &it was really packed &I ended up getting a parking spot in the front as well so everything worked out so yeah I appreciate Olive Garden @Olive Garden if you’re seeing this, I’m letting you know that Ari deserves a raise. She is awesome &she does deserve her flowers. She’s awesome foreal So Moral of this story is I have no problem being very blunt if I don’t like the establishment I’m also a YouTuber and content creator and comedian and I also do food reviews and make videos and post them on my YouTube not just here I’m going to start including that so ppl cannot only see that the food was good but the whole experience as...
Read moreFor context: Recently went here to celebrate my birthday with my family. I've had that tradition for many years now so this definitely wasn't my first time here.
Wait: As a party of 9 on a Thursday it was a 30 minute wait though we were told it would be 45 minutes. So the wait was not terrible.
Service: It felt like our server didn't come by often enough but that may just be my own bias speaking. When he asked if we wanted cheese on our soups we all said yes except for one person but he then handed out the soups with no cheese on any of them. No idea where his brain was at. Later he provided the salad but didn't even ask if we wanted cheese. Very unusual experience for Olive Garden. Wine wasn't offered as it usually is either.
Food: Something is different about the recipes or the chef because the zuppa Toscana was slightly spicier and the chicken gnocchi tasted like nothing. The garlic bread was stale and had no flavor either and our whole table was in agreement about it that. Even worse, the sausage in the zuppa Toscana looked undercooked. I've had it several times and have even made it many times at home so I could tell the sausage was way too pink. To top it off, the first soup I got had a hair in it. By the end of it, I gave up and only ate the salad. No one at our table actually ate their soups because we all agreed they had no taste.
Atmosphere: You can't find real fine dining in the AV but this is a nice pretend place if you are poor and want to pretend to be fancy. The environment is still loud and you still hear happy birthday songs being sung every hour so it is what it is. Additionally, you can tell the building has been running it's course because if you just look up there are numerous wood panels that are warped and not aligned correctly. I suspect water damage but it might be something else.
Overall: It was a huge disappointment and I'm definitely not coming here for my birthday again. Something about this place has changed...maybe not overnight but in all these years it's just gotten so trashy and the quality of the food just isn't the...
Read moreI've been to 3 olive gardens in the last year and this is the worst. Explanation:
Food : 1.5/10, the salad, which I've eaten at other Olive Garden, tastes like the bagged lettuce that is near the sell by date, and isn't refrigerated in a good refrigerator, and is allowed to become damp in a humid environment as oppose to being stored in a crisper. The ravioli didn't have very much ricotta, I guess the marinara sauce was ok, noodles poorly cooked, pretty sure these were frozen and thawed at some point.
Service 2/10, the waitress brought flat soda, and even though she came back to the table frequently, I could not even figure out what she was asking for sometimes, and this other guy, who came to the table once, when the other waitress was still there, was kind of unsettling. 2/10 just bc the hostess was okay.
Ambiance 3/10, didn't notice anything that was unclean, but the building itself is not nice at all. There is no courtyard.
Side note : Also there was this awkward guy at the To Go window with a woman that looked like they were standing there for like 10-20 minutes, possibly deciding on what to order? They possibly just didn't order ahead of time? that would be irritating if I was waiting...
