Red Lobster — Restaurant in Palmdale

Never again 😔 I ordered the endless shrimp the shrimp scampi was good but the shrimp on the skewer was over cooked and hard couldn't get the shrimp off the skewer it was cooked so hard. The New item (dragon shrimp) were not good at all, they were little bitty shrimp cooked with a lotta batter on them with a little sauce thrown on them, just nasty. It came with a spoon full of rice small portion and a spoon full of something that looked like coleslaw. For $27 dollars. I also ordered the "lobster" potato 🥴 when I tell you it was a half of a table spoon of lobster on it with a hard potato I was so disappointed ☹️ when you see lobster potato on the menu you're thinking in your head like LOBSTER POTATO 🥴 PLEASE... A little hard potato with a little half of tablespoon of END PIECES OF LOBSTER 😞 Very disappointed!! the endless shrimp came with two sides, I asked the waiter if the Mac and cheese was considered a side he said Yes instead of telling me it was a premium side he just said Yes, so I ordered it 🥴 cost me like $6 extra. I also ordered the Tuesday special, the Crab Legs for $31.99 they came with like 8/10 little square potatoes not even place nicely on the plate, but like they were thrown on it 🥴 also we requested the tools for cracking the Crab Legs open, but we're told there was none available 🥴 so how am I supposed to eat these Crab Legs at this restaurant?? Crack them with my teeth?? They were not easy to crack at all, so we just bagged them up to go 🥴 I ordered ceaser salad with the meal, but what got me was the waiter just offered my daughter a ceaser salad just because and it was put together way better than the one I paid for 🥴 the food had NO FLAVOR AT ALL. The garlic butter was flavorless seemed to be just butter on top of the food looked like it was thrown on the plate 🥴 and everything was was just about a spoonful of everything SMH. The tab was like $120. Bucks 🥴 and absolutely not worth it at all. Never again!! It was my secon, and last...

First the positive. Went in on a Monday around 6:30 pm and there was no wait even though it was Veteran's Day we got seated right away with a highchair. We were greeted by our server promptly who took our drink order within minutes of being seated. Now the not so positive. When our server took our drink order I asked if we could please have extra biscuits delivered for the baby and told him we were actually ready to order and was told no. That he would do the drinks first then come take our order. Okay odd but whatever. Our drinks came followed by the single basket of biscuits which i immediately asked for another and was ignored. He left came back (without the biscuits) to finally take our order. I asked if he wanted to see my Veterans card now seeing as i was going to order the Veterans special and i thought it would make things easier. His response was either i show him now or later it didn't matter and wouldn't make a difference, seeing as I had already pulled my ID card and was trying to show him it I found it kind of rude. Our appetizer arrived and again i had to ask for more biscuits because they still hadn't come normally not a big deal but it was for my baby to nibble on so i was getting tired of having to ask. They did finally arrive with our food which in all honesty was not that great half the shrimp did not feel like it had been cooked all the way even though it was and the rest of it was just bland. And then the refills on the shrimp took forever to come and when they did come he brought the wrong ones so we had to wait even longer to get the correct ones. If there was an option for zero stars that is what I would give this restaurant for my experience last night. I guess the one star is for the fact that as soon as my brother and I walked in the host took us directly to our table with no wait. From there it was all downhill. We sat at our table looking at the menu for THIRTY minutes while waiters, waitresses, and servers walked by taking care of the tables surrounding us, (right behind us and directly across from us. NO ONE acknowledged us. No hello, no bread, no water, no "Is everything alright, is anyone helping you," nothing. Finally, I asked the waitress at the booth behind me whose table were we at. She gave us a name. I asked "is he here?" She offered to go check. She came back and said he didn't realize our table was part of his section, which was odd to me since I'd watched him take care of the people across from us and behind my brother. She offered to take our drink orders to get us started. Mind you, we STILL don't have water or bread. We told her we were going to Olive Garden but my brother asked to speak to the manager first. Then, the waiter turns to us and apologizes, saying he didn't know our table was part of his section. (Whatever, someone should have asked) Some guy named Shaun came from the kitchen, (he had on a dish washer"s apron, I kid you not). He was disingenuous, we left with a sour taste in our mouths for that place. We went next door to the Olive Garden where there was a legitimate 20 minute wait. Once we were seated our waiter was awesomely attentive, the food was great, and he exemplified why customers are lined up outside waiting at Olive Garden when they could walk straight into Red Lobster...
