Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Palmetto Bay (Coral Reef) — Restaurant in Palmetto Bay

I had grilled chicken tenders. The meat was very soft, and they're good. They overdid it with seasoning. A little bit salty. Maybe a little too much pepper. Probably better to get the chicken unseasoned. But they do offer a wide variety of dipping sauces... so no need to get seasoned chicken to start with. The french fries were not impressive.. average at best. They taste like they were frozen first. The cold slaw was good. The texas toast was only average. I had iced tea to drink, that was average as well. They did bring the order to my table. So that was extra nice! Not many people were dining inside. It looked like most of the customers were doing takeout. There's also a lot of delivery. Overall , this new restaurant is in a highly competitive market! There are other more popular restaurants within five minutes, let's serve better chicken. So I don't see how they're gonna last more than 2...

Tried this establishment for the first time for lunch. I highly doubt that I will be eating here again. The cashier was nice and helpful. The manager appeared to be attentive to what was going on in the establishment. My issue is with the food itself. I ordered a three piece chicken tender and five piece tender meal. The food was so greasy and barely edible. Both meals were sitting in a puddle of grease. It looked like the cook dumped grease into the trays. I have patronized Raising Cane and their food has never been as greasy as this place. If you don’t mind soggy fried food sitting in a pile of grease then you will love this place, otherwise...

The food at this location does not taste the same as the other locations in Broward. I’ve been to the Broward locations several times. The food is always delicious. I was so excited to hear that a location would be coming down south.

I’ve been to this location twice and both times the food has not been the same. Something is off way off. Even the French fries taste off off like frozen supermarket fries. I hope it’s due to the staff being new. Perhaps the owner needs to bring some cooks down from the Broward location to train the employees at this location.
