Inconsistent with rude employees when issues are brought up…
As other reviews have mentioned, the inconsistency at this store is extremely frustrating. I would consider myself an “regular” as I order the same drink every other Sunday before my night shift. Only one employee gets it right because he knows how I like it made (edited to add- his name is Gabe). I wish I could do a separate review just for Gabe because he’s the best!
My recent order (9/15 @ 5:25) was a horrible experience. A trenta cold brew with “a light splash of nonfat milk” should never be white. When I mentioned it had too much milk to the drive thru employee (female with dark hair) she seemed extremely annoyed, dumped out half of the drink, then simply added more coffee. This made it lose all the syrup and sweetener. I didn’t have time to go back, so I had to fix it myself at work. This isn’t the first time I have had an issue with that employee and I plan to get her name next time for a formal complaint to corporate.
If there was another store on my way to work, I would visit there instead. The employees here need more training and someone needs to be watching for inconsistencies and attitude, especially since this isn’t the only review that mentions those problems. Hopefully changes can be made soon since I appreciate the caffeine boost to finish out my...
Read moreI wanted help loading my gift cards into my app so I could get points for my purchase. The cashier told me I could still use my gift cards but she could not help me put then on my app to accumulate stars, and after she "asked her manager" ( she may have been pretending to do this) she said it was store policy that she couldn't touch my phone. I have always had employees load my cards together into my app but figured something must have changed. After my purchase I tried for awhile to get the cards loaded myself but I couldn't load them together so I went back in to get help. The other employee took my phone and worked back and forth through my app to try to load them together but couldn't figure it out either. I guess thes first employee wasn't trained but instead of admitting that she didn't know how to do it she just lied about store policy?
Edit: I've tried calling to talk to someone at the store for two days now and it's always a "busy signal." There's is a Starbucks in the Hy-Vee across the street-- I'd recommend going to any other location if possible. I called the Starbucks help line and got great service-- and the representative said they're isn't any reasons why this location shouldn't have helped me...
Read moreI've been to my fair share of Starbucks around the U.S., and this location specifically takes the cake as the worst customer service experience. And it was not just based on one experience. I gave them a benefit of the doubt over the course of daily visits over a span of 3 months. I know the gold standard of Starbucks but basic customer service in general. God forbid the app screw up, and you receive the order late, but you tell me, "Next time I put an order in, I need to make sure I do it correctly next time". This statent I've been told several times about different things. That's not how you talk to customers. I never get acknowledged when I come in. which EVERY STARBUCKS I've been to, a hello is offered. There was even a drive thru experiance window opened, drink handed, window shut. Not a word. Your 6 am. morning staff needs to understand they should be "morning people". The food is sometimes cold despite just being put out. I could keep going but I think you get my point. There's just no...
