Chef Xue — Restaurant in Paradise

As a Chinese, I can guarantee this is not the real fine-dining Chinese food what you are looking for as they shamelessly advertised “not your typical orange chicken”.

First, the menu lacks variety. It only features generic dishes like shrimp fried rice, string beans, mapo tofu, and broccoli beef—dishes that are not commonly eaten by Chinese people in their daily lives.

Second, when you compare the options and flavors, what really sets this place apart from Panda Express? It seems like a more expensive version of the same thing, with little to no distinction in quality or authenticity.

Lastly, the preparation of the dishes is far from traditional. For example, in authentic Chinese cuisine, we don’t typically add shrimp or chicken to fried rice. Instead, we use seasoned sausages. Additionally, the egg and rice are cooked separately, which is a key detail that makes a significant difference in flavor and texture. Seem they try mimic Yangzhou fried rice but failed…

In short, this restaurant fails to deliver the genuine Chinese dining experience...

I've been here a couple of times recently. Overall, everything was pretty good. Prices. Quality. Portion. Flavor. Good, but not great. I didn't feel like the dishes were very authentic. But the food is all done well, and it's great for a bite to eat inside of virgin casino. Both times I was here, there was no wait, and the staff was relatively friendly. I would go back. I liked the hot n sour soup. It was not authentic, though. It had a richer flavor than I'm used to, but I actually liked it that way. I would pass on the egg rolls. The noodles dish was ok. I'm probably just being really picky because one, I'm a former head chef and two I've been to China and Asia a few times. So again.... for the casual diner, this place will...

Megan was super nice, fast, and always checked on my pal and I. The food is excellent and decently seasoned. The highlights were the potstickers. They're a little on the higher side of pricing, but considering where they are in the hotel area, it's not bad! You'd definitely won't be wrong for ordering multiples, because we sure did. Excellent quality of food, great service, and the staff is very upbeat. A full meal may cost about $20-30 per person, but the servings are a little on the generous side.
