It was a quite disappointing show. The venue, the sound and light were just mediocre comparing to other places. I understand that Alexis hotel can't compare to Paris, MGM or Palazzo but the tickets are similarly close to a musical theatre show in Paris hotel theatre is ridiculous. I know the vocalists tried so hard but their ability is at the music major student level, or they work so hard and they just want to save their voice so that they hold back a lot, that brought a boring show with less energetic performances. I can tell that because I am a performer also. And outfits were actually not high quality one, with cheap texture. Saying the performers working hard is not enough, you need to prove it, show it by bringing a wonderful satisfactory performance to the audience. Most of audience at the show were middle-age and senior people, their standard can be low, but for me, the show producer and the team need to work harder to bring a better show. If you don't want to work harder, you need to REDUCE the PRICE. The show was OVERPRICED with that quality. Motown is my one of my favourite styles of music, that's why I chose to see the All Motown show but the feeling the performers and the show brought was disappointment. They even didn't have a live band but singing with the playback instrumentation. Plus, the manager/admin/producer whoever of the show was a person who didn't know how to listen to the constructive review. He/she always came to fight back the low star review. That action never brings any good deed to the show. Because I am a professional performer so I know that an extreme comment would be a great motivation to change, to improve. I can't accept something vapid that way. The performance was like a Karaoke night of the dancers, they didn't put their souls in the performance but caressing the audience for entertainment. I couldn't find the passion, the fire, the emotions in the performances but the tasteless singing of the running out of breath singers. I will never applaud and support for any performance that don't put effort and real soul in it. Don't make excuses that how hard you worked, because the audience just evaluate your result...

The All Motown show fooled me. I thought I was going to see a variety of performers singing my motown favorite songs. I didn't know it was going to be the Duchess a all female group just singing. I was extremely! Excited to attend this show. Although the women were very talented, nice singing voices, great costumes I loved their dresses and they sung some of my favorite songs which took me down memory lane. But mot enough for me to get up out my seat and dance and sing to the songs it felt flat! The Duchess tried to get the audience participation and it did work for the most part but not everybody including me. The Alexis was a nice place the seats were very comfortable! Table with a candle perfect setting i sat in the second row. It did take a really long time to get my drink but it was good not to strong just the way I like it. The waitress and the staff were friendly and nice. My final remarks the Duchess All Motown women were good singers and performers. And all the seats should have been filled but there were empty seats. The show was good but not great! It was missing a spark for me. I personally would have like to have seen a male performer with a good singing voice as a a guest. He didn't have to be necessary handsome if can see his voice will take care of the rest. I think this was missing for me audience participation. But this is my personal opinion. If the advertisement would have read "Duchess All Motown" I would have brought a ticket!! You fooled me...

I got to see this show this past Monday and I was thoroughly impressed. Now this music may be from before my time but I grew up hearing it being played by my parents, aunts and uncles. The singers in the show sound just as good, if not better than the original renditions. I brought along my parents and we all absolutely LOVED it.

Since I saw this show in December, I was able to catch the Christmas version of this show. Meaning we got Motown classics and a sprinkle of Christmas songs throughout.

I know the group is consistently changing, but the group I saw on 12/4 had the most beautiful voices. I loved them.

Some other reviewers mentioned a comic, but there was no comic for our show.

I only had one complaint, the ladies ended on a spectacular closing tune. A majority of the room gave a standing ovation but then the singers started doing some Christmas karaoke(?). They’d sing parts of popular Christmas songs in rapid fire succession. It felt a bit odd and rushed to end it that way. Not complaining, I just think having the final song right before the Christmas karaoke would’ve been such a great finisher.

Regardless, I had a blast. I loved their Motown renditions. I even bought a vinyl they recently had pressed with their Christmas renditions. I will be coming back to this...

Excellent show. The Duchesses of Motown did an awesome job for our Christmas evening show. Tia pointed at me and had me dance for them. They changed costumes and were in sync with each other in their moves and singing, taking over for each other in harmony. It is a tribute show, so all the great tunes we only got a snippet of the whole song. The Christmas songs were spot on. Santa Baby they brought up a gentleman and he was the center of their song. They really do try to get the audience involved with their on stage banter and keeping rhythm. Now the complaint. They need a bigger room so we can actually get up and dance. But it just shows how popular they were and a need venue in this city. The autographed show card at the end and a chance to have a picture taken with them was the perfect end for this 90 minute show.

A nice, early way to start a night out in Vegas. The table seating is extremely crowded when all seats are sold. Even in our half-sold show, it was tight. I recommend any other seating option. There was no emcee the night I went. The singers came out in multiple lovely gowns and did their singing. In between, they made jokes and interacted well with audience members. Some of the vocals were on pitch, and some were not. The drink service in the showroom could have been better. Even going out to the bar, I still had to wait a long time to be served. We were told “no pictures or video” and everybody complied. My pic is from a pause in the show when they said it was okay.
