Denny's — Restaurant in Paradise

I often order curbside pickup from here, to take to my husband for dinner while at work. My order was confirmed to be ready at 6:58 pm. I pulled up at 6:46 pm and attempted to call then to inform them I was there. This establishment does not answer their phone! Finally at 7:08 pm, I left my vehicle, walked inside and asked for my order. The manager on duty had the nerve to apologize because they were busy. There were 2 tables being occupied, one of which, the party arrived after I did. They even received their order before I did. I asked if the food was fresh because it's been sitting up on the counter and I was asked if I wanted a new order. Of course I did and told him I'd be in my vehicle. The manager approached my car with the order and when I check it, there's no ranch dressing. I go back inside and there's an employee right at the register that did not even bother asking if I needed assistance and the manager took about 10 minutes before asking if I needed help, after assisting others with their to go orders. Absolutely horrible experience! How does an establishment take curbside orders and not answer their phone? Yes, we have a pandemic going on, but damn, only two tables were occupied. I’m all about 2nd chances but this location didn’t deserve mine. The day before we had placed in a door dash order for myself and husband 2 simple plates without Any modifications to them. Our dasher brings the item in quick time but I noticed half the order was missing I still thanked him and went back to our room just thought maybe we can just share the plate and let this error slide. This wasn’t even what I ordered nor what my husband ordered. And unfortunately, we were not able to eat that because it had peppers which I’m allergic to. It was frustrating. My husband and I decided to try one more time since we are always willing to give 2nd chances. This time our order was correct but the quality was terrible our season fries tasted like burnt oil and turkey bacon was burnt it ruined the taste did not enjoy that and on top of that there was no syrup for my pancakes or my husbands French toast and his strawberry’s were squishy and bitter. First I want to thank Denny's for my Free Veteran's Day Grand Slam Breakfast . I appreciate the many restaurants that do this for so many veterans once a year and the ones that give a Veteran's Discount all year long . It was busy as I expected since it is located across the street from the Rio Hotel , Gold Coast Hotel , and beside the Palm's Hotel and Casinos . I was seated right away and service was pretty good for being busy .

I got 2 pancakes , 2 pieces of bacon , 2 pieces of turkey bacon , 2 scrambled eggs , and coffee . The pancakes really hit the spot . It was your typical Denny's , not great , but not bad either . My first cup of coffee was not very good , but the second cup must have been fresher or someone else made it because it was better . I rarely go to Denny's since there are so many other places to go for breakfast or lunch here in Las Vegas . But to travelers , they know they are consistent and 24 hours all over the country .
