Famous Dave's Quick 'Que — Restaurant in Paradise

It was terrible. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to give FD a try. The bbq definitely wasn't pit barbecue. We each got a 2 meat combo, the ribs were the fattiest ribs (meaning they were mostly fat) we'd ever had. The "roasted" chicken I had was cold and then put on a stovetop gas grill and warmed, but it was black burnt then boxed in the to go box. My combo consisted also of 2 sides..I chose Dave's mac & cheese, which had zero cheese taste. And quite watery tasting and roasted brussel sprouts, the sprouts weren't roasted, they weren't even cooked., they were inedible. And the portion size that my husband received with his rib and brisket combo was a small child size portion..But it was just as well. His sides were coleslaw and redskin mashed potatoes. For a couple dollars short of $50 I was extremely disappointed. I expressed this to the guys that were serving up the food and running the place, they offered nothing except a "too bad". Never again. It wasn't a good dining...

I ordered online I called the restaurant directly spoke to a nice man named Andrew who assured me the time for my pick up time changed from 4p to 3:30p.I arrived a few minutes early. A not so pleasant attitude young woman stated the time was not changed, her and her coworker another female demonstrated their jobs were less than pleasant and they demonstrated through their body language the message was not relayed to them and there was no sense of urgency.So much more that left a bad taste in my mouth that I could not enjoy the food.my 90yr.old aunt did along with other family members after spending $100 dollars for the meal(s).I am never going back to the Paradise location. No real apology for the miscommunication an offer of soda or dessert at their expense would have been nice after waiting over 30mins..service was...

I wish I could give zero stars. Food was ordered for pickup and I live across the street so it did not take me more than 15 minutes to get there. Food is not hot. Ordered two cookies and both are burnt looking and hard as a rock. I ordered the two meat combo and you get ONE piece of chicken (cold and pink) and a teeny sprinkling of unsauced (cold and pink) rib tips. The sauce is gross. I do not like wet ribs. What an awful and disgusting first and only experience. Will not order from again and wish I could get my money back on the hard cookies and on the cold food. Will have to eat something else to actually get full.

Edited to add: This was my birthday dinner and instead of a good meal, I'm having half a bagel. 30 dollars for cold, uncooked,...
