So....first & foremost it's 10:30pm, they close at 2am & they are mopping the floor with bleach & dirty water smell. Not saying excuse me or apologizing for the inconvenience (as they almost mopped right over my feet as I was ordering). If that didn't happen I would have started this review out with, I am very excited about this place since it was highly recommended. As a New Yorker, I've been trying to find a great pizza place since I moved here. To be honest at this moment whole foods makes an outstanding cheese pie. Also I should mentioned i purposely went to CVS first to get lactaid pills because that's how excited I was to give this place a shot The pizza looked horrible in the case & the greeting I received was sub par. I did order a chicken parmesan sub & could not leave here without at least trying a slice of pizza (plain warmed up). I also ordered zeppolis (they don't look like traditional zeppolis). And I don't know why I was served my since of pizza on a normal plate but everything else was served in Togo containers. In all fairness I will have to come back & order a freshly prepared cheese pie to give it a proper review because I was not very happy with the slice I received. Not enough sauce & it was very sweet. The best part was the crust. It was just like New York crust. Very nice! I will say the slice was cooked properly. The chicken parmesan sub was not great. The presentation was awesome. The bread was a little chewy as well as the chicken. It was ok at best. Lastly? The non traditional Zeppolis. They are light & fluffy. Interesting the way they make them like little Donut holes. They asked if I wanted cinnamon or powdered sugar (traditional). Of course the powdered sugar. I feel like if I wanted cinnamon on my zeppolis I might as well go to Auntie Annie's. Overall they are like a 4 out of 5. The dough is more soggy than anything else. I'm not sure if it's the fryer that they used or what but there is an aftertaste I could do without. Overall, I may be a little hard on the place but I think if they weren't cleaning & they were a little more professional I could have given a 4 star rating but I'm all about customer service not just the food. It's supposed to be a complete Experience. I appreciate the effort & hope that when I come back things will be slightly different in a much more positive way. Nevertheless thank you for this evening. I'm grateful.

This pizza spot has potential. Unfortunately, it solely relies on its pizza to keep them in business. Everything else lacks effort, quality, and awareness. I ordered the 12-inch pizza and ended up paying $28 for essentially a small, two-topping pizza. I should have known that it would be expensive when I didn't see prices on the menu. In my opinion, the taste and quality of the pizza is not worth the price. It's just an average pizza. While I waited for my order, a person who ordered after me received their order. Now, this is fine because they only ordered a couple of slices from the ready-to-eat display case - they just had to reheat the slices. However, the awkward moment came when the employee called out a name, signifying the slices were ready. But the issue was that it was not even the person's name... the employee appeared frustrated and pointed at the customer and yelled "This is for you!" Confused, the customer responded informing the employee that the name called was incorrect. Still, the employee did not care and placed the slices on top of the glass case and said "It's for you". As I received my order, I asked for some napkins because I was taking it to go. The person behind the counter simply pointed towards one of the tables and suggested I help myself and turned away. Perhaps the staff member was having a bad day. It's unfortunate that customers were being used as means to relieve whatever negative stress the employee was experiencing. I don't recommend this place, even if the pizza is okay.

I know, I know, pizza AGAIN…. What can I say? I love pizza. Joes sells it by the slice, and even at 945 on a Wednesday night they still had a good assortment of pizza slices. I ordered a whole pie, and also the chicken parmesan, as recommended by the bloke at the counter. Decided head home to eat. The crust on this pizza is very good, definitely in the running with some of my favorites (Evel pie downtown, Cuginos by the university, and Broadway by UMC, and heck, Pizza Rock because they ROCK!). The veggies on the supreme side were very thin sliced which is good because it doesn’t make the pizza soggy, and the meats were just perfect. Pro-tip: when taking pizza home, if you don’t want it soggy, DON’T close the box… it’ll cool off quicker, but who doesn’t like pizza with the second heat on it??? Four stars for no homemade cheesecake. Five stars for the pizza! Edit: Chicken Parm review… WHAAAAAT? Chicken parm made with grilled chicken….? Yep, pretty flavorless unfortunately, except an overwhelming oregano taste. It was chopped chicken on a bed of EXTREMELY al dente linguini. Linguini? As chicken parm goes this was not a good one… 2 stars on the parm

Went online to get a idea of the menu. Saw what I wanted and called for a pickup. What a scam. The prices in the store are so different from the menu. Told cashier the prices were wrong and they informed me that the prices they go with are the ones in the store. Said they would tell owner but i still had to pay the difference. Yes the pizza is to die for but as they would say on ESPN COME ON. Pizza

I ordered a sub through Bite Squad for delivery. Upon ordering I was notified through the app that my food would actually be delivered by the resturant employee instead of bite squad.

After 1.5 hours I called to inquire about my food. The employee who answered the phone passed me off to who I can only assume to be the manager on duty. I explained the situation and he looked for my order. First he said they did not receive it and the seconds later did find it and commented " I don't know how they missed it." The guy had originally missed it himself. He confirms my address and then tells me that it's out of thier delivery range. Considering food apps are supposed to only bring up places that will deliver to your location I don't understand how 3.5 miles is out of their range.

After all that, he did say he would have the cooks make it up and he would send it out. My food did arrive another 40 minutes later. I was literally about to call the place again when my phone rang. It was a bite squad employee who delivered it, instead of the restaurants employee.

Now, the sub itself should have only taken a few minutes to make since it doesn't even have to be cooked. A 3.5 mile drive really shouldn't take too long.
