I've tried dozens of fast-food restaurants, but Panda Express is my favorite.

Panda Express offers the full package: cheap food, large portions, stellar customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

The last time I visited, someone shouted "Welcome to Panda!" when I walked in.

I had to go without Panda Express for a while, as there wasn't a location nearby me in Las Vegas

But last October, the chain opened a location at south Las Vegas blvd. Now I go there every time I can't fight my craving for cheap, fast, greasy, delicious Chinese food.

I like the whole menu, but my favorite items include the deep fried orange chicken, the fried rice, and the crispy rangoons. I order a plate with two entrées and one side. I always order the orange chicken. The sweet, tangy, crispiness of the deep-fried chicken is delicious. I find that I pick the broccoli beef for my second entrée.

The broccoli is perfectly steamed and mixed with strips of beef sautéed in a...

The lady with the glasses in the front is really rude, they made us wait so long for the chicken and never informed us that it was going to take such a long time. When we asked how long it was going to take she was really rude and aggressive so I told her that instead of chicken I wanted some shrimp, with a really rude voice she said “but Im going to charge you extra” like if I was asking her to get it free. Then when I asked her for chili sauce she gave me just two for two three item plates and I asked her for two more and she said that she was going to charge me for the other two, I mean ARE YOUUU SERIOUS!!! One sauce per plate!!! She did charge me 0.53 cents for two sauces. SHE is REALLY sooo cheap. She treat us like We dont have money to pay the extra money for the shrimp or the sauces. She really need some customers...

After being subjected to price gouging from the local hotels for a few days, I figured I would venture "outside the wall" for lunch. Since I am from the east coast, I had never been to a Panda Express. It was lunchtime and there was a pretty decent line, but their service and speed was top notch. The restaurant was well maintained, clean, and the employees were polite and friendly. Granted, this is fast food, not fine cuisine...and as long as you realize that, you'll be fine. All in all, I put the quality of the food on par with any other Chinese take out place I have been to...maybe even a little better. If you are looking for something different for a quick lunch, I'd highly recommend it. It is much better than any of the "hotel fast food" I have had since...

So I'm a big fan of Panda Express, but this location left a lot to be desired. I had a two item combo with half rice, half vegetables, orange chicken, and kung pan chicken. The entrees were good as usual. But the rice was severely undercooked and the vegetables were super salty. Everyone else got their usual and liked their food. In fairness, I was the only one who had a bad experience. The servers were nice but this was the first Panda I went to where they did not allow samples (they had a new shrimp dish I wanted to try). I can't complain about the dinning area. It's the same as every other Panda.

The service at Panda Express goes from bad to worse, the food itself is good! But the service leaves a lot to be desired. I can't eat rice or chow main, so when I order without these meals, they overcharge me. And when I ask for the entrees, they ration them as if I were in a concentration camp during the war. It gives me the impression that the employees are the ones who pay for what I am going to eat! I ordered broccoli with meat and they only served me 3 small pieces of meat. I screamed into my plate and heard my echo!👎In the photo is EVERYTHING that they served me!

For being considered a fast-food restaurant, this is the best food I had in Vegas for not that much money. A Bowl is $8,10 and a Plate is $9,60, and with a fountain drink you pay not more then approx $12. You choose a base (rice/noodles e.g.) and something to add, choosing from multiple chicken or beef dishes. It's fast, it's food, it's good. Would visit again next time.
