If you have ever had good sushi before and know what good sushi is, do not come here. For two people there was only bar seating, it was very tight to sit at with others including it’s proximity to other people. We were immediately greeted and seated though, the waitress took our initial drink and appetizer order and then never showed again until the check. The chef behind the bar counter where they roll everything took our order. We got 20 pc sashimi (chefs choice), luxury crunch roll, spicy tuna roll and Jesus roll (jalapeño one). Everything was a disappointment. Firstly, we received the sashimi plate and was not even told all the fish that was there. Half of the fish was overly fishy tasting lacking the actually flavor. I’ve never had tuna so fishy before. Not to mention some of the cuts of fish were overly thick for fish that was kind of chewy. For how much we were paying for this, I expected to have at least some fatty tuna or nicer fish and we really didn’t get that. The best fish on that plate was the Hamachi. I’ve had much better sashimi for much cheaper.

The rolls were another story. Talk about lack of flavor. Spicy tuna roll looked cute but had no flavor, was not spicy at all, didn’t taste like much to be honest. Crunch roll was probably the saddest crunch roll I’ve ever had. Just lacked the usual flavor and actual crunch that most places give with a crunch roll. The Jesus roll was the most disappointing to me. Literally tasted like nothing but rice even with a jalapeño on it. You could be the type of person to not be able to eat spicy food and you’d be fine eating this. Jalapeños added no spice or flavor. The overall roll was just bland. The only thing I really enjoyed was the miso soup at the start.

TL;DR Overpriced, extremely mediocre sushi, but hardworking staff, food came quickly. Would not...

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I made reservations here for Valentine’s Day dinner 2024. When we walked in the place dingy, run down and full of kids who apparently worked there but were more focused of hanging out then serving us. I was so embarrassed being a big night like Valentines Day. Trying to be a good sport and keep the dates from taking a bad turn we ordered. I started with miso soup and edamame. The waitress forgot my plate for the peels and so I had to get up and go get my own. The miso soup was lukewarm but had good flavor. Then we ordered (3) sushi rolls hoping maybe the place could redeem itself. However, when the sushi came out it was all we could do to hold back our laughter as the rolls were about as round as a quarter. They were not rolled well and came apart as we tried to eat them. Several times throughout the dinner which didn’t last long I had to flag down someone ,or even get up, to find someone to refill our glasses. I left there after spending $150.00 . I was super embarrassed because I had worked so hard to plan this date. This place is a total dump. Im very...

If I could give it zero stars, I would.

We were seated outside at 7pm. It took them maybe 5 minutes to clear a table. All the tables around us had food. Our waitress, Rannie, seemed annoyed at our presence. I asked about gluten free and she was very short and not helpful

What I gathered: There are gluten free options but they are not listed on the menu Anything with tempura or crab is not gluten free (artificial crab is made from wheat) GF soy sauce was available

We ordered 3 rolls by 7:15pm. At 8pm, new tables were seated all around us and some had gotten their food already. We asked Rannie where our food was. She was rude and went in a huff to check with the kitchen. When she came back, it was nearly 8:15 and she said there were 3 tickets ahead of us. I suggested that she cancel our order in a calm way. Instead of any service recovery, she said "fine" and walked away again in a huff.

I don't know if she was discriminating against us because we had kids or because I have Cekiac disease. It was the worst experience I have had at...

There was almost no wait and I sat outside with my family. The waiter was very nice, attentive and patient. We ordered the spicy calamari roll, shrimp tempura roll, tiger lily roll and the super dragon roll. All four rolls were pretty good the tuna on the tiger lily roll was not fishy at all which I enjoyed! The super dragon roll had eel on it, was hesitant at first but it was very tender and yummy. The gyoza was very good as well, their homemade sauce made it great! The teriyaki chicken plate was good, just overpriced for what you got. But overall the experience there was very nice and relaxing.

One of the places that my wife and I love to visit whenever we go to Park City is Oishi, in prospector square. The sushi chefs here really have skills. The flavor profiles that they create are both subtle and delightful. There are so many choices, that making a decision seems to be the most difficult part. We have always had great service, and a pleasant experience, especially when we can dine outside in the evening.
