I don’t write reviews often but this Papa Murphy offers the worst customer service I have ever received. I ordered five pizzas through their website this morning for delivery this afternoon. Very convenient and helped with my busy day. Got notified right away that the order had been placed and was being delivered at the scheduled time. When the delivery driver attempted to deliver he had a salad, 1 pizza and garlic monkey bread. No where close to what I ordered. I called the store immediately and was told they couldn’t help because it was a third party delivery. Mind you I ordered directly with Papa Murphy’s. He then told me I would be refunded that order and I would have to reorder if I wanted my pizza. This was not really that helpful because no I was going to have to wait another 2 hours according to their website to get my delivery. I ended up resubmitting for pickup and had my wife stop by to pick up the correct pizzas. I then asked if I could get an email confirming the refund of the original order and was told it would be done in 3-7 days it didn’t take them the that long to email me they charged the card. I understand the refund could take that long to post and i fine with that just wanted it in writing. Asked to talk with the manager and was told they were too busy to talk with me. After push back I was able to talk with Bill the manager and he said he could do nothing and got angry with me and hung up. My wife was still out front of the store at the point and when in to talk with him. He was extremely rude to her and couldn’t help her and it wasn’t his job. Extremely disappointed in the...
Read moreThey had special of large $8 for pizza with 4 meat ingedients. Had to argue with cashier about getting same price for one of same pizza with only two of those exact same ingedients and 2nd pizza with none (cheese only). Regardless of asking for LESS ingredients, he rang it up charging me almost DOUBLE the special price for each of the 2 pizzaa with LESS ingedients.. So I then said please give me both pizzas with all 4 ingedients and I will pick off the toppings I didn't want. I was being very nice and smiling and asking if he didn't see why this was silly. He said he understood and then after I paid the right price, I saw him go over and whisper to the girl making pizzas (seeing me watch him for 3 feet away the whole time) and she gave me pizzas with how I wanted them originally EXCEPT the girl made them wrong (incorrect 2 ingredients on one with white sauce, vs plain one with red sauce) He wasted so much time arguing with me that he didn't even hear what I was asking for in the first place. Good pizza but what a hassle to get...
Read moreI have read several negative reviews about Papa Murphy's and I'm very confused. It is one of my very favorite places to get pizza, and the only chain I visit. Sure, you do have to bake it once you get home, but then you can get it to the exact doneness that you like, or move toppings around so that they are perfectly even (if you are neurotic like me). Heck, you can even add a couple of your own toppings before cooking. The ability to design your own pizza is fantastic, especially on Tuesdays when a large is only $10. I much prefer the thin crust, but that's a general preference for me anyway. I have gotten a couple salads that had bad lettuce, but I took a pic and they let me grab a free one the next time. Super fun to get the mini murph if your kiddos like to be involved. And the cookie dough is...
