I just moved out to pasco from kennewick and i have always gone to the ones on 395 or Clearwater. I've been out here for one month and have visited here probably 6 times so far but i will not be going back. Every single time but once that I've bought a coffee or coffees from here have been awful. I get that the baristas make mistakes and thats ok. The other day i went in to have them remake my coffee that wasn't supposed to be sweet (went through drive through) she was just really rude. Earlier that day they messed up my daughters drink too but i didnt have time to go back in for them to fix it. Mind you, it was a regular carmal macchiato, but they put no carmel on it so it wasn't sweet at all. I just came back home from getting a coffee. The same flat white i always get. I asked for a orange cranberry scone she said they were out. Asked for a blueberry scone she said they were gone too. I asked for a vanilla bean she said she had three left. So i took them. The total came to $7.55 which i thought was off because i ususally spend 6 something on my coffee and scone everyday. Well i only brought 7 dollar's. So i told her ill just take 2 mini vanilla scones. They're 1.25 each right? Then she said ok its 7 dollars. Umm something is wrong here. Oh on top of all that i couldnt even drink it its so hot. Read moreFirst off, this is the second time this instance has happened in the last few months. My wife went through the drive thru @ 5:05 on a Sunday before heading out to work and no response from the window. She pulls around and walks up to the door and it was locked but she did notice an employee sitting on the counter and another standing there. They both immediately disappeared to the back when my wife was noticed. My wife stood at the door and at 5:10, the gentleman came out the back and opened the door but stated we dont open till 5:30 which is incorrect. She asked if those were new hours and he said yeah I believe so. Another customer was standing next to my wife at that time to pickup an online order and they were both in shock. No need to lie if an employee is running late....No Excuses!! Speaking the truth would of been more reasonable and maybe a better reponse such as..."Sorry folks we re running a little late and plan on opening in the next few minutes so please be patient." It's a normal starbucks, nothing different in terms of what they offer, the quality or friendliness of the staff. I hate to leave three stars for the place, but this has everything to do with the layout of the deivethrough and wait times in-store. It's a popular location, but the drive through is terribly located in a spot that blocks off oncoming traffic into the parking lot and gets very quickly backed up into the street. The parking lot itself is shared by other retailers and can be a hassle to find a spot. There is always a lengthy wait anytime in the morning you head over. Again, great that its popular, but I promise will make you late for work if you dont plan ahead.
