We usually don’t go out for breakfast, since it can be pretty simple to make it home. My husband doesn’t eat breakfast so this day we decided to go out for a late breakfast. We looked for a café in the area we drove out of town drove through Atascadero and ended up in Paso Robles. so I mapped/googled café near me, breakfast all day. And the agape coffee hall came up. We arrived at 1 o’clock. They close at two. They were very friendly and greeted us with a smile. Very, very nice staff very kind and professional. Checked for water to continuously. We had a delicious breakfast. I had the Oscars chicken fried steak with hashbrowns and eggs, my husband had the steak and egg which was a really delicious. Everything was great. I truly think we are going to be driving up 30 miles just to get breakfast late in the afternoon. They also serve a #MIN cup of Joe. Glad I decided to have something to drink midway through my breakfast. They have pies and other baked goods. Lots of assorted meals from American to Mexican and even crêpes with all sorts of choices like Nutella, chocolate and strawberries. They are kind of hidden beneath the hand restaurant. But it’s worth the time to look for them and have a great breakfast with great service. Right off the freeway the place was bustling with customers thought that they had been there for a long time, come to find out they are pretty new. They must know what they are doing like I said I truly enjoyed my breakfast and I Highly Recommend Agape...
Read moreWe finally got to check out Agape and are bummed we haven’t sooner. Easy location off of Riverside Ave with good parking lot. Tesla charging nearby.
They have a good amount of seating with some seating outside. We were greeted immediately and had a few people help us through out our visit. Everyone was friendly. We stuck with breakfast, but they have a big menu for breakfast and lunch. Regular American breakfast and lunch fare, but also many Mexican options. They had some fun sweet pancake/french toast options. We went savory….I had bacon & eggs which were great. The biscuit and gravy was the best I’ve had in a long time. Gravy was savory with some sausage and herbs. My husband loved the chicken fried steak and he also loved their hot sauce. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more!
A great spot for locals to catch up or tourists who want...
Read moreAgape Cafe in Paso Robles is a well-staffed, friendly, and family-run restaurant that has made an impressive mark in just a few months. While I'd rate the food at 3 stars, the preparation is 5-star quality. However, the cheese and oil used seemed lacking in quality, impacting the overall taste. Adding options like chicken sausage for breakfast and upgrading to a real espresso machine could elevate them to a 4-star rating for me personally. Nonetheless, it's the exceptional service and warmth of the staff that truly stand out at this place....
