Today was my first time trying Mia Thai Tea, and it was a terrible experience.
I ordered a jasmine milk tea with egg pudding, but the egg pudding had gone bad. Since I ordered zero-sugar milk tea, I initially couldn’t tell if the strange sour taste was just the natural flavor or something off. I took a second sip to be sure—something I deeply regret. The egg pudding wasn’t just sour; it had a fermented taste, almost like a sake. What made it even worse was that I’m allergic to alcohol, and my throat started to burn badly. I had to cancel all my plans for the afternoon and rush home to take Claritin to manage the reaction. This single drink completely ruined my day.
Unfortunately, I had asked my boyfriend to try it as well when I was trying to confirm whether the egg pudding had gone bad. Later in the afternoon, we both ended up with diarrhea.

Read moreAh, Mia Thai Tea in Pearland, where the Taro Milk Tea is like a siren song luring me in every time I drive by. It's as if the boba gods are whispering, "You deserve a delightful detour."
The store itself is so cute it could give puppies and kittens a run for their money in the adorable department. The moment I step in, it's like entering a boba wonderland, and suddenly, all my adult responsibilities disappear into a sea of tapioca pearls.
The server, always greets customers with a smile, and I'm here for it.
Now, let's talk prices – reasonable enough that my wallet doesn't send me passive-aggressive messages after each visit. And the best part? The tea isn't playing any watered-down games. It's a flavor explosion that hits you like a cute tea-themed meteor shower.
So, here's to Mia Thai Tea – forever my boba haven. As long as that Taro Tea continues its siren song, I'll keep answering its irresistible call. Cheers to cute, delicious, and forever-addictive...

So once I got my drink I asked about the other drink and she said oh yes . Then she said oh no I only charged you for 1 . So she forgot to charge me my other drink. . So it was understandable that I had to pay for it even if she didnt charge me. Had to wait about 5 more minutes for the other drink. Total of 20 min. For 2 drinks. It was a bit upsetting... the drinks were ok. Very little Boba that they give you so I wasn't excited about that. . So its an ok...
