Conveniently located at Pearland Town Center across from Barnes and Noble is Russo’s. This upscale pizza joint makes everything from scratch and you can watch the pizza being made and pushed into the oven right there when you walk in. We placed our phone order for pickup and 20 minutes later, I was walking out the door with hot pizza. Everything was clean inside, the staff were all wearing masks, and it wasn’t crowded at all. Here’s a breakdown of menu items we ordered: *Fig & Prosciutto Pizza - I love this flavor combination! I was expecting whole pieces of figs, but it’s more like a fig preserve slathered on the pizza crust - which is probably a lot easier to eat than what I was picturing too. It was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. And the arugula on top gave it just a hint of a peppery taste. I’d definitely get this one again! *Buffalo Chicken Pizza - This pizza had grilled chicken, Buffalo sauce, ranch, and red onion on top. It had great flavor without being too spicy. The only thing I would improve on this one is if they chopped the chicken in smaller pieces, it wouldn’t feel like you got gypped on the amount of chicken on the pizza. *Garlic Knots - The portion size was awesome! Plenty of knots to share and the marinara dipping sauce was delicious! *Kids Spaghetti & Meatball - No tough meatballs here! It was moist, flavorful and tender. Great portion size for kiddos too.

Me and my friend came by while window shopping, and the space smelled AMAZING. We came in and out server, Adamariz was a delight to have. She was attentive and took care of us along with the table next to us. She was very caring and considerate! If she was not able to attend to us, other staff were always checking up on us. We both drink pretty fast, and so it was very helpful to have someone nearby. My friend spilled some of her drink, and some of the other staff came by practically immediately. His name was Chris, and he was rather attentive. The food was really good, we ordered a medium pizza. The only thing I wish is that the sizing of the pizzas was shown on the menu, but we were not disappointed. The medium pizza was plenty, and the large would have been WAY too big for the both of us. For our drinks and pizza, the total came around to be around 29 dollars. Which is not too bad compared to other places to eat. Most of the meals on the menu were between 13-18 dollars per person. There are plenty of seats, there are many booths and tables and even to go options. Whatever really floats your boat.

Tiramisu. That's the best so far I have tried without coffee cookies at the bottom. Well, continuing with this review, I should mention that the food is actually very salty 😕. The Alfredo pasta was great, but (I know we are in Texas and the portions are huge) I'd recommend to change the plate 🍽️ and serve a bit less. We also tried the meatballs and they were made with too much basil. The sauce was salty. I really love how the pizza was made in terms on dough🍕🤤, but the flavor of the sauce was too salty. The cannoli was ok, a bit over fried dough. The service was a bit messy. Too many waitresses were taking care of our table and they lost track of what was going on. The 'manager' I guess, also offered us a plate and he got distracted by too many things going on in the service, so we do not blame that he remembered a bit late about the plate he offered to gave us😁. It was hard to find parking, we had to park in another location.

Placed an online order today timed for ASAP. Received an email confirmation and then a second email stating the order hadn’t been confirmed by the restaurant and asked that I call. Spoke with Evan who stated he saw my order and asked if I had scheduled it for a particular time. I denied having scheduled the order and said it was ordered for asap. He said he did see the order but it was set for 3:26 but that it should “fire right away”. At no time did they mention there was no driver or any other issues. An hour later I called back and Evan answered. After stating my name and that the order hadn’t arrived he said, “oh yeah, I was waiting to hear from you.” At which point he then said my order had never fired and that he was busy and alone and could offer no other solutions. He also said repeatedly, “I don’t know what you did when you ordered but it was wrong.” When asked why he waited for us to call a second time rather than calling us to inform us of the delay on the order, he said he was busy and alone. He then again implied that we made a mistake when placing the order. He also denied stating that he ever said our order would be fired right away. At no point did he offer to have the order made and we could then pick it up and I had to ask for a refund because he only kept insisting that he was alone and too busy to call people back and keep track of if orders had fired. After asking for his name and a manager did he then sound apologetic and offered to have our food made. I asked why he didn’t just have the food made when I called the first time and he said because he couldn’t do that due to the ordering process. After telling me that he loved his job in efforts to keep me from speaking to someone else, he grew frustrated once more when I explained my own points of frustration and hung up the phone. I don’t want anyone to lose their job over this, but if a manager is too busy to keep track of orders, doesn’t immediately push through an order after a customer calls and then proceeds to wait another hour for them to call back at which point he blames the customer for the error, then he needs more help on the job… or online orders should have just been shut down if it’s that busy on a...

I’ve been to this place fewer than ten times, and while my first few visits were good the experience has gone downhill. Most recently I chose this spot for a family dinner, hoping it would be better this time, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. You can usually tell when an employee genuinely cares about the customer experience no matter their role. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. The woman who helped us seemed uninterested from the start. For example, I enjoy their bread and oil, so after she brought our drinks, I requested it. Her response was, “Oh, you wanted that?” as if it were some kind of secret menu item. In a party of six, the bread was finished quickly and instead of replenishing it, she just took the empty plate away. I had to ask for more, which felt unnecessary especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Speaking of service, we constantly had to wave her down for refills, even though the place was almost empty. In all my visits, I’ve never seen it busy there are always more takeout orders than dine-in customers. As for the food, the pizza was disappointing. It tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. My first visits alone pizza was hot and tasty. I didn’t want to ruin the evening by complaining, so I focused on enjoying my family’s company and decided to write this review afterward. On a positive note their carrot cake and other desserts are fantastic. However, the overall atmosphere needs improvement. There’s no bar area, which is a letdown since pizza and good drinks pair well. They do offer beer, but that’s about it. The space itself is dark, with no music or TVs, which creates a dull vibe. During one of my solo visits, I also noticed employees distracted by personal conversations one young girl was flirting with a coworker and completely forgot about my table. It seems like the staff isn’t used to handling dine-in customers, likely because the restaurant isn’t busy. This place has potential, but it needs some updates a livelier atmosphere, better-trained staff, and more beverage options could make a...
