On 3/23/2024 I walked in with my gf and one of the waitresses told my gf It would be a 5 to 10 min wait so my gf said ok. However, she never once asked for a name or how many in your party. Going forward, 3 other parties who arrived 10 to 15 mins after us were seated in a timely fashion. So After I observed who the hostess was, I then approached her and told her my name and how many were iny party and we would prefer a booth. So finally after almost 30 mins the hostess finally looked over at me and my gf and called out the name Jerry which was incorrect, so she seated us in a booth which I discovered when I first arrived was available at that time. So I totally don't understand why we were not seated upon arrival when that same booth was already available? Thereinafter, our server's name was Victoria who's service was ok albeit I felt a little rushed to order my food. Moreover, prior to our food arriving I had put my glass at the end of the table to indirectly inform her I needed a refill on my glass of ice tea.however, she passed by my table several times and never acknowledged it? When my food arrived at our table I had told her We need refills she responded immediately and replied " I have refills coming up for you". However, we never got any refills while eating our food. She was then quick to bring our check and then said is there anything else you would like? I said yes our refills on the ice tea and the refills were finally brought to our table.. With that said, I am totally disappointed in the customer service Me and my gf received at this location. Furthermore, I will not be returning to this location. This one falls on the shoulders of mgmnt for lack of training. In the eyes of a G.m. Read moreWe went here last night for my Birthday and had a horrible time. The first hostess told us it would be 10 minutes; but then another hostess came up, confused everyone (including the groups after us) and had to get a manager to figure seating out. She kept rolling her eyes, forgetting who she talked too, and trying to seperate our party into 2 groups.
The restaurant was basically empty, so it was ridiculous that it took our waitress nearly 10 minutes to bring us water- but then walked away before we could order actual drinks despite her asking us. Another 20 minutes passed before she comes back for the order, then another 30 or so for our actual drinks. The bartender was noticeably just standing around for most of that as if he hadn't been given our order.
Then we waited another 30 minutes for appetizers, but our actual food comes out 5 minutes later. My Husband's burger had toppings on it he had requested be left off, the rainbow candy in his lemonade was stale/hard, one our friend's drink didn't have the advertised candies in it, they forgot sauces/claimed to run out, etc. Our drinks all seemed to be non-alcoholic when we ordered alcohol; we were also NEVER carded despite all visibly being in our 20s and looking young. (We are of age though.)
Our waitress did not come back to check on us at all. She had one other table and they also appeared to get the same bad service. Then we waited 30 minutes after eating for the bill & another 20ish before she came to get our payment. Then another 10 or so before she came back. The restaurant was incredibly empty the entire time.
We received such horrid service & wait times that we didn't want dessert as it would've taken another 45 minutes at least. We spent at least 2.5 hours there on a subpar dinner. Read moreI have to be honest when I say Applebees is not one of my go tos, but tonight while having an appointment nearby I was looking for time to kill and something to eat with one of my kids. I haven’t been to this location in over a decade I believe because I don’t live in the area. When we arrived it didn’t look too busy, but we were told it would be about 10 minutes or so. I quickly realized they were very short staffed which made sense for the wait. I honestly felt a bit bad for the staff since they are also offering $1 margaritas right now. It ducks that the ones willing to work are pulling double duty for the ones who don’t want to work etc. once seated we were greeted by our waitress Bree you we overheard stating she was just helping out this location. Kudos to Bree. Not only was she a great server to us I saw her run around so quick to help so many others. She was kind and efficient. Even when I overheard some other customers not being so kind/patient she kept her cool and did what she could. We ordered the 2 for 30 where we had the ribs and steak. As an appetizer the spinach dip. Everything came out pretty quick with the help of some other staff. Everything was good for the most part. I am glad they let me sub mashed potatoes for a side salad. It was an additional up charge , but worth it. The salsa was fresh and lettuce crisp. My steak was a bit overdone, but still decent. Our appetizer was great. My son enjoyed his ribs and was happy they just fell off the bone. Some of the tables were dirty and dishes still sitting, but again it was very obvious they were shorty staffed and were trying their best. Shout out to Bree for working her tail off tonight.
