The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in Peoria

This is the second time I came I went Into the shop and since I was The only one at the counter at the moment I was Kinda standing there for a couple minutes with no one attending the counter. I’m in the coffee business my self and I never Leave the counter unattended for too long since I know how restless people can get. I got The maple latte again and it didn’t taste as good as the first time, something about it was off but I drank It anyways. Then later I went Up to buy a water and again .. stood there for awhile. The girls manning the drive through could see me and looked at me and were all laughing together but didn’t tell the girl working the counter that hey .. you have a customer ? She said hi how are you but it was kinda forced and it’s not like I had a bad attitude or anything ? when I asked If I could buy a water she just said they had a self serve water station and then I asked about water cups? Since I kinda Wanted one with ice . She just said there were cups there and walked away from the counter again and it was just a little water cup which is fine but I kinda Wanted a larger water with ice but I was too afraid to go back and ask since they weren’t being very friendly. No one was really friendly, Maybe they weren’t happy to be working on a Saturday in the afternoon but I’ve been working in the same industry for awhile and you kinda just gotta get over it and put a smile on your face. So I wasn’t happy with the second experience. Though The first time I came here through the drive through, I really enjoyed the maple latte I got And the mango tea, I accidentally got the tea too small since I’d never seen their sizes before so I asked how much it would cost to just get a medium like the size of the coffee I had And she just gave it to me :,) it was really nice And she...

Never again. Put in an order using uber and they arrived with a fraction of my order. Called the store and was Shocked by a person who handled the call named Illias. First thing he says with attitude "what do you want me to do" then he asked me to return the partial order and pick up the missing drinks which won't work I'm at work and I ordered delivery! Then I said I was upset that out of 9 items we got only three drinks and two food items and that my total $82 and I felt jipped.. He sarcastically says "I don't know how 9 items total $82 but ok" .... Dude fees and uber up charge of course and what does that have to do with you guys messing my order up and me only getting 5 items out of 9???? I eventually asked for a refund and he wasnt helping with that so I asked his name and he danced around giving it so I demanded his name and he said Illias and then hung up on me without helping me!!!! Never again will we bring our office business here! And I really hope you can pull the call and hear how absolutely horrible he handled this. Also the drinks we got were melted and seperating because the guy didn't know to go into the building to find the suite we were in so yeah yuck. Also buyer beware their $6+ breakfast items are those paper wrapped tiny refrigerated burritos that they actually send cold. I hate to leave this bad review because on most days this place is awesome and the coffee and staff are exceptional! Today that was not the case around 7pm fought thru traffic to get a couple coffees for me and my husband, we ordered them blended as always! Mine white chocolate his caramel , the gal working the window handed us two runny and beyond yucky coffees ! Right away as she handed them to my guy , he said we ordered blended not iced, she looked at him as snottty as possible and rudely stated “ THEY ARE BLENDED!!! “ before we could speak another word she shut the window in his face and never even came back with our change! On most days the change would have been her tip anyway but still she should’ve asked! I am thrown by how she made these coffees! I am not one to leave a bad review but I have experienced nothing but great service and coffee in the past . I tried to call and talk to a manager but no answer and voice mail is full! I really hope this review makes it to the owner so that she can tune up this rude lady who has no clue how to make a blended coffee l, or how to be polite to her customers! 10 bucks a piece and we are throwing them down the drain!...
