We came in at 821 on a Saturday night. They close at 9. The food took a while to come out. No biggie! We just hung out n waited. We started eating, and then they started cleaning around us and said, "Excuse me, we are closed." I checked the time, and it was EXACTLY 9pm. You kick people out mid meal here? I had paid for food for 4 people and left a 15% tip, meaning it was around 100 dollars. I'm so SO disappointed that a place would kick you out in the middle of eating. We are now eating in the car outside. I will never return, and I'm bummed I tipped at all (you order and sit. There's no waiting on tables here) let alone 15%. Ugh. Sad because the food was always good, too. Way to punish a paying customer who came in 40 minutes prior to closing and was nothing but kind to you guys. I get working close on a Saturday night but us finishing up our food while yall cleaned shouldn't have been a problem, in my opinion. Terrible customer service. On the "dine in, take out, or delivery" question.. wish I could click dine in AND take out. Seeing as it turned out being both 🙃
Edit to add: I've noticed management doesn't respond to any reviews AT ALL. Also read that they don't respond to emails or return phone calls. What a bummer. I really hope they realize that bad customer service can and will take down an otherwise...
Read moreI’m someone who genuinely enjoys exploring new Thai restaurants, especially when I’m in the mood for something comforting like Tom Kha Gai or a good fried rice. Sadly, this place missed the mark badly.
I ordered Tom Kha Gai with extra potatoes and carrots, which I paid extra for. When I received my order (check the video I posted), the soup barely had any vegetables, let alone the extras. It was more like a watery broth than the rich, flavorful soup I was expecting.
Next up was the fried rice, which was supposed to be part of a "buy one, get one free" deal listed on Uber Eats. I received only one portion. On top of that, I had paid for extra egg and green onions, neither of which were present. What I got was plain, white, mushy rice completely lacking in flavor or any of the add-ons I paid for.
I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. She apologized and offered for me to come by and pick up more of that same mushy mess. Honestly, that didn’t feel like a solution more like a brush-off.
If you’re thinking about ordering from here via Uber Eats think again. There are plenty of Thai spots with authentic flavors and respect for customer orders. This just isn’t...
Read moreWhen Thai Chili first opened we were so excited to try it. The food was pretty good for a fast food thai restaurant. The issue for me is the professionalism of the establishment. When my teenage daughter was looking for a new job I recommended to her to apply at Thai Chili since it's so close to our house. She got the job and never was given an employee shirt and told she could dress in her regular attire. No proper training was provided to her, and her first day of work consisted of a grown woman telling all her personal problems to my daughter at every shift making her very uncomfortable. It's obvious they have a high turn over rate and when my daughter asked for a day off with over a weeks notice they didn't respond to her, took her out of their group chat, never had management talk to her because they r never there, and made an employee call her to say she was terminated without explanation but briefly mentioned she didn't wear the company shirt that was never given to her!...
