I am addicted to this place. One of the best in Austin area, must try in Austin. This place is always bustling with customers, the drive thru lanes can be longer on weekends and evening. Worth the wait. The turtle sundae, jackhammer variety of custards are a must try.

What’s not to love about Andy’s... definately worth the wait in line and price you pay... staff was very nice at the drive through and order was accurate.. this local spot is frequently visited from our home. A definite stop after dinner desert.

Their servings are very inconsistent. Every time I order a medium, it's never filled to the top and I feel like I'm paying for a medium and getting the same portion as a small. When I order a small, it is always filled to the top.

When we first discovered Andy's, I thought it was the best place ever. I absolutely love sweets (especially frozen treats). The first couple times we ordered here were much better than our recent trips. Lately I've been getting half-melted concretes or shakes. They've also been getting my orders wrong by not adding the right toppings. This evening we went and they tried to give me a plain vanilla shake instead of the malt with 2 toppings that I ordered. Then when I get home, I realize that they failed to add the caramel creme, plus my "malt" is very thin and much more like a melted milkshake. Not sure if they're malt powder is just very bad, or if they failed to add that along with the caramel creme.

I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because it seems like they do try to be friendly... However, it doesn't seem like the young workers can really handle the demand and constant business of their jobs. I'm extremely disappointed in the sub-par quality of these over priced desserts that I used to love enjoying.

Edit: I added a star because Andy's corporate team was very responsive to what I had to say. I appreciate that they bothered to explain how they could / should do better. I also finally visited again this last weekend, and it was hands-down my best Andy's experience yet. Will be giving more stars if it...

Unfortunately, my last two visits were a disappointment! As the young staff were not wearing cloves as they supposed to, and should be on top of their priorities as they are dealing with food and customer safety! Plus, last visit on 04/29 when I asked for a sampler for my kido beside my actual order “like I usually do after recently learned from another staff member at the same location that I can get a free sample for my kids, which I didn’t know before” but unfortunately the last rep brought the sampler with bare hands and no napkins whatsoever! I asked him if the should wear a cloves or at least hold it with napkins but he replied that this is usually for dogs!! That was sounded rude and in-respectful! So if this is the way they treat human they better work at a pet store!

Another time I was going to get some topping to my ice cream and asked the staff what topping I can get? She said anything, and I asked can you please name them for me! And she gave me like 2-3 options only! Well I ended up with a brownie; but unfortunately it was a brownie with some vanilla crusted not the other way around! Barely tasted the ice cream! 👎🏼

And many times their ice cream were melted and messy!

I found the Parmer/Metric...

Had an item missing from our order, asked if they could check the receipt and see if maybe they missed making it or just wasn’t added to my order. Cashier was like sure let me check, he went and asked the Manager, who took my initial order and she starts saying “we made what was on her order if she wants it made she needs to pay and she says it a few times with a nasty look on her face, making it seem I was wanting it for free! I told the cashier she has a nasty attitude, and asked for the manager, he says she is the manager. I told her my daughter showed you exactly what she wanted because she took a photo and showed it to you! And she completely blew me off. When I did my initial order I asked her what banana splits she had and she said I don’t know, and just didn’t want to deal with me. I feel it was racially motivated just by her demeanor or she just treats everyone like this. Completely unsatisfied with this visit. Cashier did apologize but the Manager was very unprofessional. Saturday...
