This review is to address the deplorable treatment recently received by a young lady and her mother at this establishment:
Discrimination against individuals with disabilities is not only morally reprehensible but also illegal in many countries, including the United States. It is deeply disheartening that a manager, who should be setting an example for his staff and ensuring the fair treatment of all customers, would instead engage in such discriminatory behavior. This manager's actions towards this young lady were nothing short of despicable. Not only did he refuse to make any effort to accommodate the girl's communication needs, but he also displayed an alarming lack of empathy and compassion. He seemed completely uninterested in understanding or assisting the girl, leaving her traumatized at his outburst.
Raising Cane's, as a well-known and supposedly customer-oriented establishment, should be held accountable for the actions of its employees. This incident highlights a severe failure in training, diversity, and inclusivity within the company. It is simply unacceptable that a manager could behave in such an abhorrent manner without any consequences.
I implore Raising Cane's corporate management to take immediate and necessary steps to rectify this situation. They must conduct a thorough investigation into the incident, reevaluate their employee training protocols, and implement comprehensive sensitivity training programs for all staff members. Furthermore, disciplinary action, up to and including termination, should be taken against the manager responsible for this disgraceful behavior.
As consumers, we have the power to make choices based on our values. I, for one, will no longer support a company that tolerates discrimination and fails to ensure the dignity and respect of all its customers. Until Raising Cane's addresses this issue in a meaningful manner, I strongly urge others to reconsider their patronage as well.
It is my sincere hope that this review raises awareness about the appalling treatment this young girl endured and encourages positive change within Raising Cane's. No individual, regardless of their abilities, should ever be subjected to such discrimination and...
Read moreFirst let me start off by saying I am a die hard tender connoisseur. I'm as picky about tenders as a human being could possibly be without just being neurotic lol. Embarrassingly enough, i admit I can't really eat overly crunchy or hard battered food. I'm not saying I'm on a yogurt and noodle soup diet or anything lol. I think I still have at least 20 to 30 years to go for anything like that. HOWEVER, this joint I've discovered, is heaven sent! The breading is.the PERFECT balance of crispy and light so that it melts in your mouth. It's finely seasoned to perfection and the chicken within is succulent, moist, fresh, and mouth watering! It is by far and away the absolute most delicious and always freshly made chicken I've had. I look at the list of Austin's best chicken tender places and I just laugh at what they consider the best haha. Burnt or blackened cinders slathered with eye watering and tongue blistering hot sauce and seasonings that only really serve one purpose, to cover the taste of the chicken and breading. Why not just pay me 20 dollar to shove some inedible crap and drano down your gullet, and then punch you in the mouth. Its the same effect right? Lol jk Anyway yeah I'll be sticking with Caines. Btw, my guess for the reason their food is always so fresh and perfect is because it's CONSTANTLY being made and sold at high volume since their so popular. There's always a line but it moves like the dickens! Anyway that's all i have to say on that matter. Don't believe me?...
Read moreWe normally love Canes for their food and service, but today we visited this location across from Typhoon Texas at 6:45 pm on Friday 6/23/23 and had quite a bad experience that we thought the establishment should know about. While waiting for our food at the second drive through window, we asked for an extra sauce, to which the cashier seemed to be bothered by. She indicated it was 42 cents and we gladly gave her 50 cents. To which she asked, “do you want the change?” as if annoyed. My husband who was driving said, no that was fine. And we said thank you. Nonetheless, we saw her practically throw the bag of food on the inside counter when it was given to her. When she then handed it to us, we checked to ensure we got the food order we asked for. As we checked she said she’d put the extra sauce in the box, which wasn’t even closed properly, likely from having been handled roughly when she got it before giving it to us. Overall we were quite disappointed with this whole interaction and service and to make it worse, it seemed we got the smallest chicken fingers to boot! We hope others who visit this location have a better experience with the service and with the...
