Wow, this place is a breath of fresh air. An unassuming, European-style cafe/restaurant/gelateria complete with an elegant espresso machine behind the counter and that oh-so-wonderfully ubiquitous Illy coffee. The food though 🤤🤤🤤 I got an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with fresh pesto on it — it was warm, gooey, and delicious. Behind the counter I could see one of their lovely hand-rolled pastas on the tray, lightly dusted with flour, ready to be thrown in the water — i’ll definitely be back to try some. But the star of the show was hands-down the Albanian three-milk sponge cake that I got — two inches tall and straight up SOAKED with sweet milk, topped with a thin layer of rich caramel. I ate the sizable piece i’d gotten in less than a minute, easily. For someone with a sweet tooth like me, it’s a slice of heaven on Earth. Their sandwiches are quickly becoming a favorite - soft and crispy bread, packed with flavor, makes you want to go back the next day. The pasta was delicious as well, with a generous portion at a fair price. Illy coffee is available, alongside a bunch of pastries and gelato flavors.
