I wanted a good suit for law school, and set aside $1.5k for it. Mike met with me and described what makes a quality suit, demonstrating with examples at the shop. I appreciated being shown actual reasons to upgrade, instead of just salesman fluff. Mike explained the fabrics use the highest quality wool only from the top of the sheep, that no glue is used to cut corners, and other features I already forgot. I was happy to get a top-tier $4k suit after the meeting.

Mike’s advice was awesome. I’m not good at style and he didn’t let me choose features that would look unprofessional. I really appreciate him telling me “no” for my own good.

The result speaks for itself. When I wore the suit to class before trial team auditions, the professor said “Wow, Eugene dressed up for class, why didn’t anyone else?” The funny thing was - about 10 other students were wearing suits (we all had auditions later) and they weren’t noticed. I get a lot of compliments on the suit.

All minor issues were dealt with immediately and for no extra cost. I’ll be back for more good clothes as my budget permits.

I recently had the distinct pleasure of working with Mike at Henry A. Davidsen for my wedding suit, and the entire experience was fantastic.

The suits I received were impeccable – perfect fits and exactly what I had envisioned for my wedding day. However, what compelled me to write this review was the exceptional professionalism Mike demonstrated when we encountered an unexpected timing issue. Due to an unforeseeable shipping error overseas, and the short timeline that I needed this suit on, we found ourselves in a situation where my suit might not arrive on time.

While this would typically be a nightmare scenario, the confidence that Mike's communicating instilled in and the backup plans he put in place put my mind at ease and let me relax knowing it would work out....
