February 28, 2015 around 10:30am my boyfriend and I went through the drive thru at this Dunkin Donuts. After we paid and got a portion of our order, another cashier came to the window and yelled at us to move forward so they could give the next customer their order. This drive thru is a single lane, so there is nowhere else to pull off and wait in the drive thru line for the rest of your order. We had to pull out of the line and take the first spot in the parking lot. After waiting five minutes for two donuts, it was clear that the associate forgot the rest of our order and my boyfriend went in with our receipt.
He explained to the cashier what happened and said that we are still waiting for two donuts- the croissant glazed donuts. They explained that the cashier we originally had rang it up as just two glazed donuts and that we probably already received them and are trying to pull one over on them. My boyfriend asked for a manager. An older Asian woman, the manager, said the same thing. She would not refund the two glazed donuts because they believed that we already received them or ate them within that time frame and told him that if we did want these two croissant donuts, he would have to pay for them. After at least ten minutes of the same conversations, my boyfriend gave in and paid for the donuts, which came to $3.
This high lack of customer service, especially from a manager, is appalling. The entire staff at this location does not value customer service, which was apparent during this encounter. This was the first time we stopped at this location and it will surely be the last. After wasting close to 20 minutes for two okay donuts, which we paid for twice, for a total of $5, it was not worth it. I can’t believe some of these people are working in customer oriented jobs, especially with that type of manager who leads a horrendous example. Even though this was my boyfriend’s choice, mine was stopping at Wawa, I think we are highly considering our choices from this point forward. All in all we spent $20 on breakfast, whereas Wawa would have been less and with a high level of...
Read morethis might be the worse dd in the whole north east... matter fact it might be the worse one in ALL of philly. Legit wish i didnt live around this one because its the only one that is open 24/7 - with that being said the girls they have working overnight (two white girls who's faces look like theyre caving in) are usually high when i go through the drive through (again i go here a lot because its one of the only ones thats are open 24/7 in like 4 miles.) and every time the order is a) wrong b) missing items c) somebody else s order. i actually had the blonde girl nod out her eyes roll to the back of her head and she stood there at the window for like a solid 2 minutes before she came back to it!!! its actually ridiculous. after tonight's experience i just felt the need to warn everyone that youre honestly better off just waiting for the other one on bustleton to open the mall one...
Read moreI had a very pleasant experience in this Dunkin Donuts. When I first entered the employees welcomed me right away! It wasn't too crowded so I ordered immediately. There was a young gentleman on the phone behind me. When the employee told me my total right away the young gentleman spoke up and said I'm paying for whatever she ordered. I just looked over at him and said thank you so much sir. He smiled and said my pleasure. The person on the phone must of asked what was happening and he said oh nothing and just continued his conversation. He definitely didn't do this kind gesture to brag. I truly believe he was a good soul. Restored my faith in humanity and now I'll pass this kindness on. This place was clean well taken care of. I would definitely return here. There is also...
