DO NOT EAT HERE. Terrible service. Manager called me to tell me i did not tip the driver. When i stated i did and that i gave her cash, she then tried to shame me for leaving a CASH tip at my apartment door for my delivery and that my "tip wasn't large enough." My apartment is less than 4 blocks from the restaurant and last i heard, a tip is a gratuity for good service, not an order being delivered over 45 minutes late. The manager then stated it was rude and disrespectful to leave cash outside my door and that we should be HANDING it to the driver. I reminded her we are in the middle of a PANDEMIC. She stated they did not care. My fiancé is a surgeon who works in the hospital with patients everyday and has to be very careful to serve those in need. How safe is this restaurant? They don't want your service, they don't care about your safety, and their drivers will "only deliver if the tip is worth it" otherwise you will wait for an hour and a half for your food. It's a shame that a business cannot respect a pandemic or a loyal customer who placed larger orders from them almost weekly to keep them alive during the pandemic. Shame on them. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants in the city that treat their customers...

If you want quality, fairly priced sushi, maybe even a go to sushi place, Kinme is a great option. The place itself is small, very cute . Majority of the rolls are reasonably priced, under $20, and the fish were all quite fresh. Everything was pretty solid in terms of flavor.
DINNER*
Chirashi - great if you want to try all types of fish they have to offer. I really like the sweet shrimp and the scallops on it.
Hamachi Jalapeño - pieces of yellowtail with ponzu. Very good if you like sour like I do
Incredible Hulk Roll - interesting concept of using cucumber as the wrap instead of rice and seaweed. It is quite refreshing, however, tasted majority like cucumber and fish as is. Ponzu sauce did not stand out as much as I had hoped. Not my favorite
Forgot name of the last roll but it has yellowtail avocado on the inside and seared fish on top. This roll was very good.
VERDICT: Yes, I would go back again. Definitely good sushi here...
Read moreKinme is a truly special restaurant in the Gayborhood serving excellent, fresh sushi in a calm, lovely atmosphere! Owner Nancy goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and cared for. I was at Kinme on Monday 7/24 for a comedy show which was a blast! The only thing that soured the experience was a group of 8 women who came in for a birthday dinner, KNEW the comedy show was happening, and talked loudly through 4 comedians’ performances until they were asked to quiet down. They finally left, but continued speaking loudly and insulted the comedians outside as they walked out. Nancy and her staff handled the situation with grace and professionalism. Overall, I highly recommend Kinme to anyone in Philadelphia looking for delicious sushi and...
