I’ve been here a total of 3 times. My first time there I had a young girl and had an amazing experience with her! The woman I had the last 2 times was the same and had pretty much the same experience
She asked if I wanted my nails shorter and I said no to which she mentioned they don’t look good long, they’d look good short, I said no thanks. I asked for a coffin shape to which she said they would look better round and I said no thanks to which she then started filing them round. had to ask her to please do a coffin shape. When it came to my nail color choice…suprise, she said it wouldn’t look good I should try another color or French manicure.
I also had gel which she shaved off the first time. I don’t really like shaving as my nails are thin and it hurts during and after my nails are done. The first time I thought whatever. The second time I asked her to soak them as again, my nails are thin and it hurts. She made it very clear that annoyed her and said it takes longer. I had the extra 5 mins it takes to soak to spare, so I asked to please soak. She soaked them for about a minute before taking the tin foil off and shaving them down again and it hurt! I truly have never wanted to walk out more.
The annoyance on her face and I’m sure mine was very present in the last two experiences . It was more so the fact that both times she was telling me what she thought was better and ignoring what I had asked for and shaved my nails so thin.
Suprise suprise my nails broke during the next few days and I went to another salon to...
Read moreI don’t write reviews but I do want to share my experience here. I got a pedicure and gel manicure. My pedicure was good. My fingers were bleeding in four different spots when I got my manicure. I asked for the same color on my toes and feet. When she started putting the color on my fingernails I asked if it was the same it looked different, she told me it was just the first coat it will look better on the second coat. That wasn’t the case so I asked her if it was actually the same color. It’s the same name on a gel polish vs regular polish but it’s not the same color because gel has more color pigment. I wish I would have known that or she would have at least made that clear after the first coat on one nail. While she was taking the color off, she used the buffer and kept hitting the skin around my cuticles so it was so raw it burned when they put the base coat on, on top of already being cut in multiple places. Ultimately I was there for 3 hours. I could tell she was expecting me to say I wasn’t going to pay for the manicure because it was so bad. Obviously I did but she did try to charge me the wrong amount I had to correct her by saying what was on the board behind her- genuinely a really shady/...
Read moreI never write reviews unless I had an amazing experience or if I had an absolutely terrible experience. I wanted to treat myself and my best friend to an evening of manicures. I ended up getting my manicure first. The lady who ended up doing my nails was nice at first, but became more aggressive. When we got down to the cuticles, she became rough, by the end of the getting them done, they were bleeding. I was super confused, because this had never happened before. I questioned the bleeding and she was adamant about receiving her $19 before the coating (which I wasn't going to get, because my cuticles are literally bleeding. I asked another manicurist if bleeding is normal and she looks and says something about it, but no one cares enough that that had occurred. I paid my $19 to my aggressive manicurist and still tipped her cause i know we are working to survive, but it happening and how it was handled was poor. I couldn't even treat my friend to a manicure... because I wouldn't allow him to have as much as a bad experience that I had. Sidenote: It's 3 days later and it hurts were she bruised...
