This dessert shop is absolutely adorable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay and try everything on the menu! Thereâs a huge selection of treats, and itâs clear that a lot of thought goes into every option. We tried the Matcha Bubble Tea and the Lavender Earl Grey Bubble Teaâboth were delicious. The matcha had a deep, rich flavor that wasnât too sweet, while the lavender earl grey had a subtle floral note that complemented the tea perfectly.
For dessert, we ordered an assortment of crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e flavors, and they were incredible. The cranberry crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e had a lovely tartness that balanced the creamy custard, while the green tea crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e brought a unique earthy twist. The third flavor (I canât remember the name) was equally delightful. Each crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e was smooth, rich, and had that perfect caramelized top that makes the first spoonful so satisfying.
The attention to detail in both the drinks and the desserts is evident, and itâs a great spot for a casual date or a treat-yourself day. Iâd go back in a heartbeat and canât wait to explore more of their menu! Highly...
Read moreI absolutely love this tea house with my entire heart. Their decor is subtle, and neutral, but absolutely stunning. The seats are comfortable. And the waitstaff is friendly and accommodating to the max. I recommend a weekday evening, as it's not too crowded and is nice and quiet for enjoying comversation. We went for tea and dessert and ever single thing we got was absolutely delicious. The pastries, the ice cream, the parfaits, smoothies, and lattes were all deightful, delicate, and perfectly balanced. But for me, certainly, the tea was the highlight. Served by the loveliest pot in beautiful teacups and saucers with intricate floral patterns, is perfectly brewed tea. You can choose the sweetness level, or add raw sugar yoursef for the pickier consumer. Each tea we recieved was perfect, and getting the whole pot meant we could keep pouring for ourselves or share around and try others. Soft classical music played in the background, completing the wonderful ambiance. Couldn't have asked for a better, more relaxing end...
Read moreApparently Prince Tea House is a popular, elegant tea house chain in most Asian metropolis centers and I'm grateful to see one here in Philadelphia. I haven't been to many tea houses, although I solely drink hot tea as my go-to beverage in the colder months, so this place is right up my alley. Everything was beautifully laid out and had a classic touch to it, from the interior decor to the chinaware to the sweet pastry. What I love about Asian pastries is how mildly sweet they are, which pairs perfectly well with the aromatic, complex blend of teas we ordered. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the tea selections. We tried the Purple Yam Crepe Cake, an eye-catching and light sweet potato-ey dessert, and found it quite interesting--not a favorite, but still good. The Strawberry Shortcake Parfait is a must-get, light and refreshing! I hope to visit again soon, and often, after the pandemic is over. Stay...
