I was asking questions about the menu and after multiple times of asking, they didnt understand at all. There was definitely a communication barrier. I never like, NEVER go to burger and was simply asking if they have a kids breakfast meal. The woman didnt know what I was saying or how to answer my question. Sweet woman but..🤷🏽♀️. Then I got my order with a medium iced coffee. The cup was filled literally from top to bottom stacked with ice. There was actually more ice than coffee in this cup. Anyone who's had iced coffee knows there has to be a decent ratio of coffee to ice. So I told the woman that there was an extreme amount of ice and asked for just a bit less ice and more coffee to balance it out because the ice wasnt even floating to the top.( There was literally ice packed top to bottom of this cup yall🤦🏽♀️ ) when I asked her she gave me attitude and said "ugh oohhhkayyy...." and rolled her eyes. When she got back with my drink she said "next time ask for light ice so we dont have to do this" I said " thank you so very much for fixing this for me. I would have asked for light ice had I known I was getting ice with a splash of coffee. Have a blessed day" I will never be going there again. That lil girl needs to work on her customer service. Read moreI just stopped at the Burger King on Peoria AV at Metrocenter. What a waste of time and money. All I wanted was a Whopper Jr, no mayo.. it's loaded with mayo. I'm hungry and cranky from being hungry and I don't like to throw away food, but I don't eat mayo, that's why my sandwich was ordered without it. I went there yesterday and the first thing that struck me were big signs stating "no customer restrooms", I needed to wash before dining, so I left and went to the QT next door. Then I went this morning for breakfast. The homeless guy smoking dope in the drive thru came out screaming that they were closed, went to QT again. Decided to try one more time..they were open now, ordered the burgers without mayo, such a simple thing, just leave it off. Now I've paid for something that I just don't eat. I even thought of calling the store to see if they could rectify this mistake, no answer. Normally, I check food before leaving, but I didn't this time because I did not feel safe in the BK parking lot. I am upset because I order your 2/$5 Chicken Sandwiches and they came out soggy in the middle and juicy on the inside. Which tells me several things yes you cooked them fresh cause they were hot, but you guys pulled them out of the oil early to rush the order and your service plus the fries I got for being a app user were also pulled out to soon. They were limp, barely crisp and had a bite to them. They were not golden brown and crispy. They were very light in color. It was also obvious they were not cooked to time or temperature. Please STOP doing this. I don’t mind waiting for hot fresh food! Time and temperature are to the leading causes to foodborne illness in most restaurants and food businesses please do not sacrifice the quality standard when it comes to those items you will make someone sick.
