We have been here a few times and its a shot in the dark. One time we ended up with shrimp on a non shrimp dish and I am allergic to shrimp. They reached out and made peace about it. But we keep having issues. Like tonight. First off we have ordered the chips and queso with chili several times. Idk if they forgot it the last few times or if its new but they put a seasoning on the chips tonight. 1 if the menu even said it would have a seasoning I would ask whats in it before ordering since i have several food allergies and intolerances yet on the menu it doesnt say seasoned chips. Yet no mention on the menu and like I said it never happened on previous orders. So i found its something i can't eat. We were not offered new chips when i mentioned I can't tolerate it and if i had known i would have asked without. So all the chips in the picture provided went to waste because my boyfriend and I combed through the whole pile. Found chips without it or broke off pieces that were half and half. But even still most were tainted and my boyfriend couldn't eat more with what he did eat plus his burger and fries. So half our money on chips with chili con queso went in the trash. Our server was amazing other than the small fact of not offering to replace the chips when i mentioned I couldn't tolerate the seasoning on them. Its mostly food issues for someone like me and i am careful. I carefully read menus. If something is unclear or vague i ask questions. Like if just the word "seasoning" is used i ask what it is. I really am considering driving to a different location further from home cause even though i love our servers i shouldn't go home sick and in pain because of simple things that can be...

I want to be fair here and give the full picture. A while back, I left a tough review for Hooters after a visit back home where the service fell completely flat. I wasn’t acknowledged, I felt overlooked, and honestly was mistreated before I even had the chance to order. It left me thinking maybe Hooters wasn’t what it used to be. That visit left a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively.
But just yesterday, after a disappointing trip to BWW, I decided to give Hooters another chance — at a different location. And this time, it was night and day. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted right away and treated like a valued guest. The staff was on point, attentive without hovering, and the energy in the room felt positive and welcoming UNLIKE the back home location.
The real highlight came from the manager on duty. He went out of his way to let me sample two of their more unique hot wings and sauces — something I wasn’t expecting at all. That small gesture not only turned me on to trying their wings in a whole new way, but it showed genuine pride in what they serve. Two words… I will!
The food came out fresh, hot, and fast, and the overall vibe was exactly what you’d hope for when you go out to eat. This visit completely erased the memory of that first bad experience and set a new standard for me. I will still NEVER visit the one back home as I suffer from PTSD from that interaction.
Big props to this crew and their management. They didn’t just meet expectations — they exceeded them. This location reminded me why Hooters can still be a great place to go, and I’ll...
Read moreMy husband and I took our two kids here.. we were going to go to our usual place (Red Robin) but our 9 year old wanted to try Hooters for the first time. When we got there is was pretty empty a few people in the bar and two other families in the dining room.. my 3 year old asked to use the restroom, on the way back he saw all the games, I said no and my 3 year old lost it.. not even 3 minutes into his tantrum ( as we are already embarrassed) the manager comes up to me and says he’s going to give me a few minutes to calm him down and take him tot he bathroom and do what I need to do or he will need to ask us to leave… My husband came back from going to the truck to get our sons calming toy… and we immediately left right after… We drove straight across the street to Res Robin and we got seated quickly, my son was still crying.. our waitress immediately came with a soft voice and tried talking to our 3 year old and if we needed anything, she brought him a drink, some oranges, and within seconds our 3 year old was happy and calm and saying thank you and being the toddler he normally is…
Hooters is not a family environment and I understand no one wants to hear a toddler have a tantrum, I do understand that, but in a family advertised place, I expected more of an effort to help parents who have children who are hangry, in the spectrum, sad, angry etc.
It was already embarrassing but to not give us time before threatening to kick us out was just a kick when we were...
