Really disappointed in this place. Lengthy post because we were there twice w awful service. My boyfriend and I went on a Friday. We sat at the bar and ordered food. They brought someone else’s food to us twice and we explained it’s not ours. Our food finally came, and while the food was amazing, no one checked in on us. After twenty minutes of trying to get our servers attention, we flagged down another gal at the bar. We politely asked if she could get our server. She VERY rudely says “well you could have just asked any of us, so what do you want”. When my boyfriend tried to apologize.. we didn’t know the service worked like that, she again very rudely interrupted him to say “I can just get it so what do want”. We were stunned, but ordered some drinks. When she came back she says verbatim “I’m not being rude I’m just blunt”… we looked at each other like.. is that an apology? I’ve worked in the service industry for years and we all know you don’t say something like that unless you KNOW you’re in fact being rude. Whatever, we closed out and left. The next day our friends wanted to check it out. We decided to give it another chance. Huge mistake. We ended up ordering a couple bottles of champagne for the group and we were bowling so had our own section. The bowling glitched multiple times, minor inconvenience. Without me knowing, my boyfriend ordered us all a round of shots (expensive ones). I saw a waitress set down some shots on a ledge near us (mind you we were in the bowling alley part so higher up than main floor). When no one touched them I asked my boyfriend if they were ours. Since the waitress never acknowledged that the shots he ordered were delivered, he assumed no but went to get our server to ask. By the time he was back the shots were gone. I honestly assume they were cleared off as I mentioned, they were in a LEDGE. Also a good thing to note is that we had an entire table dedicated to be used for our drinks and food. So why would someone drop them off several feet away on a ledge? The waitress said she dropped them off earlier and left. At this point I’m frustrated so I ask for management. They send over a security man. I tell him what happens and he goes “sounds like you’re just mad someone stole your shots”. We paid for everything and left. I will never go back. The service was down right absurd and I dont see this place lasting long unless they seriously train their staff. I’m bummed because I was hopeful and willing to give them another chance. Great concept,...
Read moreI am very concerned about the use of force your security team chose to act upon. Me and my friends along with my boyfriend were all hanging out and dancing. Suddenly My boyfriend was excessively grabbed by a security guard at his neck from behind for absolutely no reason. He was grabbed by the neck and dragged out with 3+ guys pinning him on the floor. There was no reason for this to have escalated to this when we had no prior interaction or communication with them. We didn’t even have knowledge of any issues to begin with. I was so scared that they were going to choke him out and he would’ve passed out that I began to cry and try to stop them when another bystander that works for the hot dog stand threw me on the ground. The police got involved and when we explained the situation they said the reason was he was starting a fight. However, my friend and I approached security again after getting permission from the officers. we ask for management or someone we could talk to for an explanation of this. They claim now that he was being aggressive towards me when that was not the case what so ever and I’m sure there is video footage proving that he was not a threat. I ask the bouncer who grabbed him with force for his manager name and he was extremely disrespectful, 3 more security then start to become aggressive towards us which makes no sense if they claim they were looking out for me to begin with. They shut the door on us and provided zero reason for the incident. This is extremely disrespectful and disturbing. This place was one of our favorite places to hang out and bring...
Read moreLeaving my previous review for context regarding my updated review.. So I did go back, twice actually and I can say it was a much better experience, love the bowling and the pool, also I love how you can walk from one bar to another and feel the change in vibes. Definitely a place to check out if you're around downtown Phoenix. I know I will definitely be back, glad I gave it another chance.
Giving it 1 star for now, I was at a table and waited almost 30 min for service, or someone to come to my table but nothing so I did end up leaving. Now I'll be honest and admit I wasn't sure if a server comes to you for the order if you are at a table, or if you have to go to the bar to request your drink so I'll take some blame. However, I know some of the servers saw me sit there, and one even went to the table next to mine to ask that group how they were doing, but no one came to me at all. Now maybe it was because it was just me by myself idk but I sat there and nothing, not one server came to me. I'll admit I probably should've waived someone down, but given it's the hospitality/bar industry at the same time I should not have had to. That said, I'll give it one star for now for the lack of service I received, however I understand they just opened just this past week, so probably still getting used to things, and I do love to support local, especially when I can walk to spots like these, so I will for sure give it another try, and hopefully my next experience will be better, if so I will add more stars and...
