Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers – 7th Ave + Chase Field Locations Food Allergy Alert – READ BEFORE YOU GO
If you have food allergies or care about someone who does, do not eat here. I’m speaking from real experience—not just as a disappointed customer, but as someone who literally had a mild anaphylactic reaction at one of their locations and watched them handle it with gross negligence.
Let me explain:
CHASE FIELD (Super Bowl time) – I came in at 16 with a friend. I had a bite of food and my mouth started tingling, and my throat began closing up. I immediately told the waitress. Instead of calling for help or checking the food, they came back with a paper stating I “consented” to eating the food and wouldn’t sue them. I was a minor, and I looked like a minor. They knew what they were doing—covering themselves legally instead of doing the right thing. It was cold, dismissive, and honestly horrifying.
And as for the beer? Let me paint the scene: it was the Super Bowl. The place should’ve been electric. But when I walked into the Chase Field location, not one group of men smiled when their beers hit the table. Not one. Faces went sour and dark. That moment said everything. The beer was warm, flat, and honestly—embarrassing for a place that has “Cold Beers” in the name.
7TH AVE LOCATION (March 24, 2025 at 3:00 PM) – I called to ask about allergens and the staff didn’t even know what an allergen warning was. Not an exaggeration. They were confused by the term. This chain is actively ignoring basic food safety standards that could literally cost people their lives.
I checked their entire website after the call. There is no allergen menu, no clear breakdown, and no proper disclosures. Just vague mentions of “gluten-friendly” with no depth. There’s zero transparency or education across the board, and that’s terrifying.
This chain is massively negligent, both ethically and operationally. I have officially filed a report with Linda at the Health Services Department to address this growing pattern of negligence. I strongly urge others to speak up before someone gets seriously...
Read moreI have really wanted to love this place because of the great location and interior design. But, its been disappointing time and time again. I've ordered take out food about 8 times this year and taken my family in 3 times. Twice the take out food has been undercooked. The Jucy Lucy burger was severely undercooked. I ordered medium and the inside next to the cheese was raw. Not rare, raw. Another time I ordered their grilled wings and they were severely undercooked inside. I emailed feedback and was told to come in and ask for the manager, but I order take out on my lunch break and by the time I get the food back to my office I can't turn around and go back.
Like many others I'm sure, I attempted to reserve a table for a popular country concert in July 2023. I tried months in advance and every week when I called or emailed I was told they don't know when they'll start booking or how their table reservations will work. I gave up emailing and didn't get a table.
Lastly, about 3 weeks ago I ordered my take out lunch online and walked over to the restaurant about 20 minutes later. I was told the order was never received from the online ordering system so I had to wait for them to cook the food. Today, I tried ordering online and the location is deactivated and won't let me order at all. All of the other CCCB locations work just fine online.
When the food is cooked right, it's delicious. The wait staff and bartenders are good; maybe not great, but nothing to complain about. I wish I hadn't had so many issues with this location but it's time to give up. I frequent the brand new location in Verado and it's been fantastic. All of the issues seem to be isolated to the Downtown Jefferson/7...
Read moreHorrible experience for a birthday. 1st time reservation for a game. Party was originally for eight and the reservation was $300 for the table. When you call back and have to add another table ,nothing at all was not mentioned a about additional table fee. Then they had a minimum per person fee of $50. Spoke to two managers. The first one who took reservation second one when we called back to add the people, neither 1 mentioned anything about the table fee. 3 tables and the waitress would come to one table ask if we needed anything and completely skip over the other two tables . so we would have to flag her down to get our refills. Nachos for both tables came out cold the first time. The cheese has not even melted, and when they were sent back out new ones they were still cold. We had to buss our own tables basically because no no one would would take the empty plates or cups off our table and we were there for the whole game. Extremely unprofessional management, he didn't even know what the table fee was for that night and that game. There's no email confirmation stating table fees. When asked how much we were at for our minimums, the waitress kept coming back with different amounts that we needed to hit. Have aided other locations before and the service is okay. But this service here at Chase Field is horrible. Will never never be back. And we'll...
