Pros: location is great, atmosphere is just fine, staff were friendly, food came out very quickly. Cons: very low quality ramen. To be honest, this was the lowest quality ramen I’ve ever had at a restaurant. At this price point, I didn’t expect Michelin star, mind blowing, amazingly complex flavors that make it taste like we’re actually in Japan. BUT I did expect it to taste somewhat elevated from the Top Ramen chicken flavor packs I used to make for 50 cents in college. This is exactly how my ā€œspicy Korean ramenā€ tasted. In fact, I would bet a lot of money that those are the exact noodles that were in my order. It had the exact flavor and texture of a 50 cent Top Ramen chicken flavor pack. Which, doesn’t taste horrible in and of itself, but that’s not what I’m going to a restaurant for. I paid extra to add chicken and it was just a few small pebbles of dark meat. The ratio of vegetables and protein to noodles was really really low for a typical ramen restaurant. Calling what I ordered spicy Korean was a lie. It’s not either. There was a slight orange tinge to the broth which makes me think there’s probably a tiny amount of gochujang present, but not enough to make it spicy or Korean in any meaningful way. Truly the only flavor I tasted while eating this whole bowl was that of Top Ramen chicken flavor seasoning pack. Also, the edamame were very dry and some pods were browning. It had to have been old and microwaved instead of fresh and steamed. I’m really disappointed as I was trying to branch out from my usual ramen spots. I will just stick to the spots nearby that I know are good. Only way I’d come back is if I had a mad case of the drunk munchies and just wanted anything warm and salty. I see reviews here saying the sushi and other entrees are good, but idk if I want to risk this same level of disappointment again. Don’t come here for any level of authenticity or high quality. Come here if you’re drunk, I guess.

This place used to be great years ago, but the recent years it slowly went downhill. -While dining in: I paid extra for a side of spicy mayo to go with my sushi and shrimp tempura, they only gave me that and didn't include the sauce that goes with the shrimp tempura. So when I asked about it, they got mad and said "You wanted spicy mayo!" I said "Yeah and I paid extra for it, I didn't swap the sauces. So I want both." and they never brought out the regular sauce. On top of that, someone ordered $13 ramen, and I saw the cooks open a pack of $2 store ramen packs and use the noodles bricks out of there. It all made sense why I noticed their noodle quality was soggier than it used to be. -In my to-go order I had Shrimp Tempura (5 pc) and received Gyoza instead, had to go back in and get it corrected. HOWEVER, they took the gyoza back (didn't see them toss it, mind you) I received only 4 pieces of Shrimp Tempura even though I paid $8.50 for FIVE. Also, this isn't the first time something like this has happened. We have ordered at least 5 different times for pickup, and there's ALWAYS one to two things missing/incorrect. On top of that, even though we order ahead of time to pick up for convenience and speed during our limited lunch break- we get ignored til they are done taking everyone else's orders that are in line, even though we are standing near the front of the line near where our BAGS OF FOOD are sitting (I reached for it once just to get yelled at by one of the workers). Meaning not only is our lunch time being wasted, but our food is getting colder/soggier by the minute. What is the point of ordering online for pickup, if you have to WAIT there til they take 20 more peoples orders while our food sits on the side?

DISGUSTING! THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING! I guess because they serve predominantly college students they don’t care! I ordered my food, paid and did not eat it and left it there! The fact that they have so much cross contamination is wildly crazy! The Sushi chefs literally have on the same pair of gloves to do everything, the entire night ! They take the menus from every customer assuming their hands are clean from walking in (nasty) in the same gloves, grab ink pens , use knives, and then grab dirty rags to wipe down surface areas and utensils all in the same gloves🤦 ! I seen them drinking beers, eating their personal tacos , and etc in same gloves! šŸ—£With the same gloves ! Trifling ! The fact that the patrons all touch these menus and then give them to the chefs and then they grab them and prepare everyone’s food is a bad business model! I seen a guy come from the bathroom, grab a menu to fill out his order and hand it to a chef. Chef grabs it, and starts making his food and others 🤦 Don’t believe me? Sit at the bar and see for yourself šŸ˜‰ or watch my video!

I placed an order for delivery and ended up receiving the wrong order. When I tried calling the restaurant to advise of the issue, they picked up the phone and hang up. This happened at least 5 times. Since they weren’t answering the phone, I decided to drive to the restaurant which was what I was trying to avoid from the start. I took back the food that we received by mistake and the waitress/hostess took it and blamed the ā€œblack guyā€ that Door Dash sent to pick up my order. According to her it was the ā€œblack guy’s faultā€ that our order was wrong. She then asked me to wait until our food was ready. While I was waiting for my food, I reached out to Door Dash to ask for the delivery/service fees to be refunded since I had to make the drive anyway and they advised they couldn’t do that since I placed the order through the restaurant’s website. When the hostess brought the order to me I asked her if she would offer a refund for the delivery fees and she responded with a stern, ā€œNoā€, and said I’d have to take it up with Door Dash. I advised her I had already contacted them and they said I would have to bring it up to the restaurant’s attention. As soon as I said this she laughed and said, ā€œNoā€, again. I didn’t even mind making the drive to pick up the right food, but the waitress definitely left a sour taste in my mouth with the way the situation was handled from the start. I will never buy food from this...
