I’m honestly heartbroken and upset after my experience here. I came in really wanting to like this place, but I left feeling completely disrespected and discriminated against.
My entrée was served before my cocktail, which made no sense for a proper dining experience. I told them I wanted to enjoy my cocktail first, so they took my plate away. I waited over 30 minutes, and when I asked for my food again, they brought out the exact same plate from earlier. The pasta was soggy, the sauce looked reheated, and for $22, it was unacceptable.
When I brought this up, the manager didn’t apologize or even try to understand. Instead, she argued with me and made me feel like I was the problem. I wasn’t asking for a discount—just for what I paid for: a fresh, well-prepared meal.
The way she looked at me and spoke to me made me feel small and judged. I came in wearing joggers and carrying my laptop, and it honestly felt like she assumed I couldn’t afford to eat there. That’s discrimination, plain and simple.

The white bean hummus, tuna tartare, truffle fries, charcuterie board, and meatballs were all bursting with flavor—each dish felt like a masterpiece! And let’s not forget the cocktails—the Last Ditch Effort was hands-down my favorite.
With its convenient hours of 11 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, Hearsay is a daytime gem. Whether you’re looking for a casual lunch, a place to get work done, or simply an excuse to enjoy happy hour, this place has you covered.

Read moreFantastic spot! The interior design is fun, light, and interesting. The bartenders are friendly and easy to chat with while also having a keen sense on timing - like meeting with a business counterpart offering additional service at the perfect timing. Looks like a wonderful place to hunker down and get some work done while enjoying the atmosphere. Heard from my conversations with the staff that they will open a "listening room" where guests can listen to real records with individual headphones, giving a truly unique experience! I'm looking forward to experiencing this room soon. I'll also need to try the food next time as well. They are keeping it limited but dedicated. This place is a must, whether a meeting or for a casual solo trip. For only being open for two weeks, they have a lot...
