You be the judge. Ordered a light fixture from the Kierland store. Took over 6 weeks to arrive, which they said it would. No issue there. Fixture arrived with only a 6' chain when it was supposed to come with a 12' chain. Have to have the longer chain due to ceiling height. Their first suggestion was for me to go to a special store and have a chain specifically made on my dime. They then said they would send a new chain out, but it would take 6 weeks. I said no to that as well. They were able to track down a new fixture, which arrived a week later and I was assured it would be correct. It wasn't. Not only was chain 6' again, cord was only 6' and the metal extension rod in the middle that holds the bulbs was sheared. I was tracking the order and had my electrician lined up to install once fixture arrived because we had plans for a party and this was last item to be installed in our remodel. Since I already had electrician scheduled, 14' ladder rented which had to be brought out on a trailer that was rented, I had my electrician rewire the fixture, Macgyver the chain and sheared center piece so it at least looked presentable for our party. My additional bill from electrician for the extra work was more than the fixture itself. Even after all that I still would not feel compelled to write a review if they would come up with a fair solution, but their solution is basically for me just to return the fixture and just eat the additional cost. And how exactly am I supposed to get the fixture down? After reading the other reviews it sounds like there is a similar trend progressing with this store. Wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. And just as a side note on how a customer should be treated. Ordered a table from West Elm and had a similar experience, but their fair solution was to reimburse me for the majority of my purchase (and I assure you the table was much more expensive than the...
Read moreCustomer service is atrocious. Placed an order September 1 for a dining table which became available for delivery in less than two weeks. But the delivery crew unboxed it only to realize it was someone else’s damaged return that didn’t have any hardware. So they took it back and we were told it was now out of stock and wouldn’t be available until late October. It’s now mid November and we heard nothing from Arhaus. It took 3 calls over multiple days to get in touch with our salesperson, who said it was now showing end of November. I called the Arhaus concierge a week later and was told “early December.” The concierge explained that they are expecting to get more in stock in December but they have no way to know whether there will be enough to fulfill our order or if they will be allotted to other people in the queue. They allegedly have no way to know how many people are in the queue in front of you so they give you an estimated date but it’s a total guessing game as to whether you’re actually getting your item on that date. They say the orders are filled based on the order date but when we ordered it there was no wait and now it will have been 3 months to get our item. It makes absolutely no sense. For the amount of money they charge, I am shocked at the lack of communication and...
Read moreHere is our experience..
we spent well over 5K purchasing dinning room chairs and kitchen counterstools back in September of 2021. We kept on getting delayed without any explanation all the way till June of 2022.
We finally got tired of simply getting delayed without any explanation therefore went in to speak to the manager at the store( Kathy, not very good at emphatically communicating but thats besides the point) Somehow she managed to get our items delivered within two weeks- so thats all that mattered!
So, my advise is stay away from this place, but if they are holding your $ and items hostage, then go into the stores and demand that they do something about it. You may finally get your items delivered!
Arhaus, shame on you for not delivering on time! Yes we all live in COVID era, but you can not continue to use COVID as an excuse. Your poor logistical planning should not be at the expense of your customers. If you can not deliver in the agreed time frame, then don’t give your customers an inaccurate delivery date!
Buyer, beware— spend your hard earned $ somewhere else! There are plenty other high end...
