Had I simply received my overpriced “hard” bagel in a reasonable amount of time I wouldn’t have bothered with this review-I just wouldn’t have returned. But for literally being the only customer in there (at the time) and still waiting over 20 min for a bagel with lox and cream cheese. But 4-5 people came in after me and ordered. So rather than completing each order as they were received, I waited for the other 4 orders to be processed and brought out all at the same time. Totally unacceptable. The cashier was MIA for over 16 min while multiple customers walked in waited and walked out for lack of service. And I read the owners comments about hard (aka stale) bagels, and stated they are baked fresh daily…umm I can’t say if they are or not but I will say this is the first bagel shop/bakery that doesn’t let you see the product when you order (or kitchen). But no one going to convince me that the bagels they serve today are from today. Cool atmosphere (for a cocktail...
Read moreAfter missing the original pop up last year, we were so happy to finally try Little Pickle. And it was so much better than we had even hoped for! Perfect rye bread - with gf bagel my wife had because she has celiac - with just the right amount of cheese and sauerkraut. And the pastrami? It is at the very top of the best we’ve ever had; and I’m from Miami! I grew up on Wofie’s and Rascal House!
Andrra was amazing and her excitement for the family business was contagious. We will be back to try all of the 151 Hospitality restaurants!
My only request is please offer large black and white cookies that have a bit more cake texture to them. The flavor and icing were amazing, I just wanted more to chew and a softer bite.
We will have to go back soon as I just realized that I didn’t take one single picture - that is how busy I was dining on what I would dare say is the best...
Read moreJust went to try little pickle in Biltmore—I thought that it had a really nice ambience and the workers were very nice and accommodating. However, I think I ordered the wrong thing on the menu to try for my first time here. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and was underwhelmed. I thought that the schmear was great. However, the bagel tasted store-bought, which is the last thing I want when I’m going to a local place. I’m a harsh critic when it comes to a great bagel though! After reading the reviews, it seems that THE thing to get on the menu is the pastrami sandwich. Because of the atmosphere and the people I definitely will have to come back and try it! Great job guys at opening up your own business and adding to the...
