I wish I could say that my recent experience with Ike's Love & Sandwiches at the Camelback location was as pleasant as the sandwiches themselves usually are, but sadly that was not the case. I had placed an online order for five different sandwiches on behalf of a local company, expecting a swift and smooth pickup.
Arriving at the 20-minute mark as advised, I was informed by the staff that they couldn't complete the order due to a malfunctioning oven. Though they were unable to help, they did assure me that my payment wouldn't process and that a refund would be provided, which was comforting at the time.
However, the situation became increasingly complex as they were unable to transfer or share the order details with another Ike's location for me to pick up from due to concerns over refund processing. In an attempt to alleviate the inconvenience, they provided me with three coupons, but I later discovered from the 4th Avenue location that I could only use one at a time even considering the circumstance.
Being short on time, I decided to place a new order online for pickup at the 4th Avenue location. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the order was incomplete without the promised lollipops, which I had to request again. To top it all off, three out of the five sandwich orders were incorrect, causing further distress among the employees I was ordering for.
To add insult to injury, two days later, I noticed that two charges had been applied from Ike's. After calling and speaking with the general manager, James, he explained that the refund had never been processed but promised to do so immediately. While I appreciate his apology and his acknowledgment of the recurring issue with the app, I hope that steps will be taken to prevent such scenarios in the future.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience, compounded by system errors, communication gaps, and failure to meet basic order requirements. I hope my feedback serves as a constructive critique for Ike's Love & Sandwiches to improve their service...

Read moreI got home from surgery four days ago and eating has been an issue. Today I felt good, so I wanted Ike's. I love Ike's and I was excited. We ordered three sandwiches online. Went to pick them up. We were the only people there but no one spoke to us for over five minutes. Eventually they found our sandwiches. We get home and all three are cold and two of them were e wrong. We wanted ALL the veggies on ALL THREE, but got SOME veggies on ONE.
