Ingo’s Tasty Food in Downtown Phoenix is a must-go place. My daughter and I went on a busy Sunday and were seated within five minutes of arriving there. The staff was polite, well-polished, and had their own sense of style, which I can appreciate.
The service was great. Our server, Wes, was on top of it. He answered any questions we had about the menu items which was important to me because my daughter has a food allergy. Nobody wants to see an epi-pen whipped out mid-meal or brewski. My daughter and I finally decided to order salted butterscotch iced lattes. They were AMAZING!! For our meals, we ordered the Fresh Shattered Potato Chips, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and DAT’s Turkey Club. Everything was delicious, but I wasn’t surprised by that. What surprised me that other staff members, specifically Shae and Cam, stopped by our table to ensure we were taken care of or needed anything else. It was refreshing to see coworkers step up and check in on one another’s tables.
The manager, Chris, was personable and I could tell he’s invested in the restaurant. He asked how the food and service was and I was thankful I could honestly tell him everything was great. He runs a tight ship but truthfully, it runs like a well-oiled machine.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is a trendy casual spot. The music was on point, the ambiance was relaxing, and I loved the decor.
All in all, I give Ingo’s Tasty Food five-stars. I will be back but it won’t be soon enough!
P.S. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures of our entrees. We started eating before I remembered to take the pictures and by the time I remembered, it was too late! Next time...
Read moreThere are some places where their food rarely looks like the picture on the menu and then there are some places the food always looks like the picture on the menu. This is one of those places where their food always looks like the picture on the menu. I got the deviled eggs and a farmers daughter burger, meat ordered rare. I love it when the meat still moo’s at me lol. You can also get medium rare and cooked as well, rare is not the only option, just the one I like. You know when the meat is ground in house and their burgers actually taste like the meat was ground in house like it says on the menu. I will be coming back here to try out the rest of their menu.
I think I only spent 20$ for the burger, deviled eggs and one of their house drinks. I really enjoyed the mint on top of the house drink. I don’t like the smell of alcohol so the mint on top helped me to enjoy the drink. I was so happy with the food and service I didn’t even look to see if they had restrooms for the customers or not. The staff were very friendly, like their job depended on how friendly they were lol.
The only part that was hard for me was parking. Trying to find a garage with parking available was the only hard part. So if you already live in the area and don’t have to worry about parking then you will be fine.
This is one of the best hole in the wall restaurants I have...
Read moreWay overrated. TLDR is it was bland, small portions, and overpriced. Went for dinner with a coworker, I got the Paris Texas Cheeseburger, he got a white fish sandwich. We picked here because he saw they had fish and chips on the menu. But we saw someone else get it and it's less tiny (-side note fish and chips is of British origin where they call chips French fries) it liked like 1 tiny piece of fish and 5-8 potato chips. Probably should have left right then, but we'd already ordered drinks. They brought them - and it was a can of Coke for $3 (but they messed up and brought me diet). They also didn't ask how I wanted my burger cooked, it was shut medium rare. After we got our food I did hear the waiter warning the other table they undercook it and ask them if that's ok. The sandwiches didn't come with and sides and they didn't really have many options for sides or appetizers, I think the options were deviled eggs and house potato chips. Considered the chips, but saw another table get them and it looked about like half a potato worth for $5. If the food was actually good and they had more options we would have probably just ordered more. We ended up going somewhere else to get wings and fries after because the experience was so...
