Our expectations were not met at Jacy and Dakota's with regard to the food. The kitchen staff do not know the menu. Our server, Melina, was good, and the service was decent overall. They had a large party on the patio that took precedence, it seemed, so we waited over an hour for our entrees. We received a flyer in the mail introducing us to the restaurant. We thought we'd try it out on a weekday for dinner. Prior to going, we checked out the menu online and got excited to try something new. I made the reservation. We ordered the Burrata, Tomato, and Basil pesto salad as a starter. The menu description of the dish included the title components as well as corn salsa, chimichuri, spinach, etc. Sounds yummy. We received a plate of arugula with a single ball of burrata, covered in balsamic reduction. No tomato, no basil, no pesto, no actual dressing, or olive oil at minimum. When the manager had the kitchen fix it, they brought a plate of arugula, cherry tomatoes halved, and the same burrata that I cut into from the first plate, covered in balsamic reduction. The additional ingredients were still missing. I sent it back and canceled the order. Well, over an hour later, our pasta and scallops arrived at our table. The pasta was missing the bread it comes with. The flavor was ok. There was a whole stewed tomato on the plate which was odd. The Italian sausage was minimal. The scallops were cooked nicely. The flavor was good. There were probably 2 cups of cilantro rice and 3 scallops. Pickled red onion sprinkles on top. The presentation on the plates was lacking. Overall, we were starving, and it was just ok at best. It's not worth the over hour wait or the hassle of driving downtown. Bonus was they have free valet parking and the flyer was buy 1 get 1 entrees. I'm hoping this is not the usual and it was an off day in the kitchen. I'm not sure if we'll be back.

This was my first time eating at Jacy & Dakota's. It continued to pop up on my open table recommendations, so I thought why not! I was a bit caught off guard when it was INSIDE the Westin. None of the photos on open table showcase the location as an inside the hotel spot. Of course, we were eating in a HOT Phoenix Summer night (116) so we opted for indoors, which had less excitement due to it being a hotel restaurant with majority of patrons being hotel guests. Honestly, that is my only negative. Everything else about this place was an amazing experience! We were in the darkest corner of the restaurant to keep cool, so my photos were not as amazing as I wanted them to be. Awesome pretzel with beer cheese (our server informed us it is made with a local AZ beer, and it was BOMB)! We also tried the charcutier board and had some awesome drinks. Dinner was also really well presented and delicious. I had the steak wedge salad with homemade blue cheese dressing and the steak was perfect! My husband had the chicken sandwich which was also really delicious. No desert for us here because we were FULL!! The outdoor ambiance was something that we will certainly be back for in the fall. We did take a few photos so you can see how cute and what a fun vibe it had to offer with Jenga, Connect Four, Fireplace and tons of additional seating. While it started out uncertain, I would say we will return for sure!

I will not ever go back here. Had tickets to Billy Joel / Stevie Nicks concert at 7. Arrived at the Westin w a party 8 around 515 at Jacy and Dakotas. We placed food and drink orders. 45 minutes later still no food or drinks and our waitress or any waitress ever even came to the table to check on us. Finally a manager came over explaining that some drinks tickets had gotten mixed up but assured us our drinks would be out very soon. 15 more minutes passed and still nothing. We waived down a diff manager and again told it would be fixed soon. Keep in mind it is now 615 and the show starts at seven and it’s a mile walk away. Drinks finally show up but Still no food. We then cancel all food orders except the appetizers because at this point we won’t have time to eat. The appetizers start showing up and we immediately ask for the bill and still that took another 15 minutes to receive and of course it was wrong. I was actually shocked they didn’t comp the bill. One person in our party complained and they eventually comp’d the first round of drinks. Another 15 minutes passed to fix the bill and pay.We were late to the concert and missed the first part of Stevie Nicks set.

Worst service ever. I understand things happen but the way it was rectified was unacceptable.

I will never go...
