Read moreThe new location is not up to par. For starters, the space resembles a 1970s bus depot in some far-flung, flat city, with overly simplistic chairs and a hulking cement wall. (And I love cement but you gotta jazz up the cold with some green succulents or warm wood.) It doesn’t get better. I ordered my drink and immediately the barista announced the lobby was closing. Now, shame on me for not checking out what time the place closed, but when I said “for here” he could have said “ oh, just do you know, we are closing in 5 minutes”. I would have walked out.
