Wendys on 20th st and Camelback youve earned this one! You see its the holiday season and so far Ive done really good at making the right financial decisions and not choosing to buy fast food for myself even when I may here and there for my kid and wife. Its just nature to be financially conscious what value I give my money especially when it comes to value, time, and quality and whats really reciprocated at the end of the year not day! With that said after a long weekend of work I decided "what the heck its late 1230am ish I gotta work early and take the kid to school and I might as reward myself after this weekends load!!"
Whelp to cut to the chase after an unusually looooong wait behind only 2 cars in the drive thru I finally get up to pay for what would have been 24$ish worth of food, and with coupons it cut that 10 off. Needless to say I grabbed the bag dropped 'er in the seat and once home after a breif drive the food was actually cold to the touch and not even so much as luke warm!!
Of course I called and complained immediately just kinda really shocked and lost for words being so tired and hungry that this bag of authentic food poisoning came out of a Wendys of all places let alone the Phoenix Colonnade Wendys!! And, sadly yet oddly ironically after a already busy and oftly wonky weekend I finally bend and buy myself something other than just a coffee for once!!! So much for rewarding myself with a nice warm meal! All's I could get in response was a weak apology, my experience of the workers odd emphasis on the recollection what customer I was by referencing the coupon I used to save a buck, and the offer to come back for my order to be remade the next day after they reopen! (Closed at 1am)
Ive had some pretty shotty experiences with many retailers, general service providers, and food service providers especially this holiday season where its going to be costly long term losing my business, but tonight, haha, tonight takes the cake for Grossly Terrible fast food services experiences for me!! And, sadly this coming from a Wendys of all fast food burger joints, and in fact you folks tonight may have severely further impacted my relationships in general with fast food places! Whereby now youve laid ground work to substantiate that your establishment doesnt deserve a second chance to poison me or my family and havent even came close to scathing surface on earning my business or hard earned money!!! Fool me once, fool me twice kinda mojo here! But, for now it will have to only be Shake Shack or Culvers moving forward and plus their shakes are always better anyways!
I must say though that it truly boggles me as to what others have done, and whether they will get ill as they must have experienced the same thing and may not to just have the ability to come back the next day for a redo costing the customer more time and money.
You see, the moral of the story is good, quality, and time valuable service is good service to be exceptionally provided in any business no matter when just opening or just about closing for the day! Now, I never pat myself on the back, but my google reviews are proven to statistically have greatly impacted customer interaction, and thereby impacted customer purchase likelyhood resulting in effected long term sales. Reviews that as per my personal and my family's experiences resulted in the neccesary authentic, rational, and unbiased reviews. This is to ensure consumers can make more educated decisions regarding purchases and long term brand loyalty. Again crew youve earned this one since now I basically wasted my time and money just to still be hungry and left to make my own food at home!
In conclusion I will be expecting a refund or will simply dispute with my bank for services not rendered as paid for and agreed upon!! Simple as that! Happy Holidays!

Wow, after ordering a friend asked a staff member to unlock the men's room, she did, and opened the door which immediately got slammed. Later a pregnant female employee came out screaming like a lunatic that he had walked in on her and immediately the girl that represented herself as manager came out to the waiting area and both female employees screamed at him relentlessly. This was not thirty seconds of them screaming but minutes. Then a young thin male came out to yell at him. Someone brought up that my friend went into the bathroom, which was not true. My friend did not even unlock the door. I know this because I was waiting and watching all of this as I wanted to use the bathroom too. After three employees yelled at him, he finally was able to say a sentence without interruption and said he didn't unlock the men's room, nor did he walk in her. The manager and pregnant lady screamed at him, it appeared as loud as they could. One customer came in, rolled eyes and left. Then the manager, at the top of her lungs told my friend he had to leave the place and threatened to call the police. The manager said I could wait for both of our orders. I would have called 911 but it seemed too dangerous over some hamburgers and besides there was a handful of employees all screaming accusations. I got our meals which we decided to throw away because this pregnant female employee said I will get even and we feel she sabotaged the food. The gal that unlocked the door seemed to use to this almost riot situation and never claimed it was her that unlocked the door and that no one got in and certainly that no one had video taped her. I have seen blatant forms of racially profiling and discrimination and we sure witnessed it with a few very aggressive, angry, almost insane employees at this location to not warn others to avoid this place. Never did get the condiments I wanted, though like I said we threw our meals away without eating anything as the hostility within this place was unreal. For a while I thought we were on the TV show what would you do. Perhaps if a female employee is using the men's room she should switch the door to occupied painting and not come out screaming like a lunatic. Anger issues and obvious bullying. If someone has video taped this incident and corporate watched it, or it was sent to a TV station I suspect corporate would take strong disciplinary actions at minimum. ⚠️ A refund should be given. Pretty bad when you have your hands on the phone ready to call 911 and end up throwing your food away for fear it...
Read moreI ordered two meals and gave explicit instructions for one of the burgers to hold the lettuce AND tomatoe. But when we started eating it became obvious that the instructions for how to prepare the burger were NOT followed! Not to mention that the condition of the second meal was completely inedible, the sandwich was the spicy chicken fillet. When attempting to bite into it, I was unable to make a complete bite because the center of the chicken was almost solid and similar to a chunk of rubber. I make that comparison because that was also the sound it resembled, with a squeaking and squishy-like feel and texture. I dont feel like the employee at the window was rude but she was short in her demeanor, rushing us through the transaction and hurriedly taking the order. Given it was close to midnight and closing time was near, it was more important to them to serve us sub-par food items sending us on our way then to uphold the fresh high quality food the chain is known for. I have always been a patron of Wendys due to THAT exact reputation and will hold to the idea that it is this one location or perhaps the certain employees tonight which are to blame for the horrible experience. Needless to say, I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE TO EAT NOR WILL I RECOMMEND IT TO ANY WHO MAY BE INTERESTED. For the amount of money paid ($20) I expect better, and if it wasnt so late or as far away I would head back there. But I couldnt even get them to pick up the phone when I tried calling just now. In short, the overall feel from the employee's left me with an impression of disinterest in serving me a quality product and the actual product served was something I didnt even want my dog to eat, nevermind that they were unable to get my request for no lettuce/no tomato correct.
