Okay I've been asking you this again. Sure why not. I normally the old school traditional like place a phone call speak to the manager type. And unfortunately because of a couple of disappointing screw UPS I may do so. But I guess I'll post on here why not. So when in the neighborhood I prefer to come to this location 95% of the time. There is one location probably just a little bit closer to my home but the kind of work I do has to be traveling around the city. So I'll go to whatever whatever location is nearest. This one in the Biltmore area on Camelback is the best normally. Completely totally very respectfully to the management at this location I say normally. I appear to have had service provided by three different individuals which I guess if in a lot of the modern restaurant setups is the way they do things. However the first man that greeted me and Anthony what I wanted moved on to so obviously serving or prepping food for other people that walk in with their little phones and deliver things for people that bugs me. Then the second individual that ended up helping with most of my food except for the man at the end who checked me out the second individual I had way too much trouble having to be understood or repeat myself which I tend to think of the combination of the fact that I am a bit self-spoken the high glass and the fact that the young lady at the end who was making the tortillas had a good bit of high volume music going. So it was difficult for me to communicate. I even think I made a crack about that and there was no hesitation there was no response given to oh I'm sorry will turn the music down a little. Now that said the reason that music was a bit loud and I feel as though attention by this second individual that did most of my food did not pay proper attention or did not seem to have had enough experience normally when you're getting your metal excuse me foil trays of tacos or quesadilla we are asked if we would like anything extras I tell him what I do and don't want unfortunately tonight I let them know I wanted yes the rice and the beans and a side Bowl together this has been no problem in the past tonight I got home and I had no rice or no beans also I expressed to the gentleman in the beginning that I wanted to have my tacos and my kids there prepped with wheat tortillas when I got home I had a wheat tortilla for the quesadilla but not for the tacos. Also the one gentleman appeared to be incredibly inexperienced on how to make the guacamole dip in which most locations are familiar with mixing the guacamole the Salsa Fresca and the cheese together I don't know whether this is just not a commonly ordered item anymore or whether most individuals are not properly trained on it in the beginning I almost feel uncomfortable or as though it's not my place to be advising employees how to make something that I have always presumed they knew how to make I end by saying once again I will have no hesitation coming back to this location it is still nine times out of 10 the best place to go. Read moreAbsolutely the worst in Customer Service ever!!! I ordered online a Grilled Steak salad to be exact. My order would be ready for pick up at 1:00pm and because it was a special order it was $18.00 that is beside the point. I walk up to the pick up area and waited for a couple of minute and a man came up to me and asked if I had been helped. I let him know that I had not. I gave him my name and there were just 2 orders waiting to be picked up and none of those were mine. The man literally just walked away and went to go work on the line. I had to ask the lady that was working the register if he was making my salad? She asked me what was going on I explained to her that I ordered online and was there to get my salad and he couldnt find it. She pulled up the online ordered on the register and asked my name. I gave it to her and she said she couldn't find it and didnt know what to tell me. WHAT?????? Then she explained to the Team Supervisor my situation and without even bothering to look at me she said very rudely then she is just going to have to get in line. WHAT????!!!!!! I understand things can go haywire on the IT side and maybe they didnt get my order...we all have bad days and dont always handle everything the best. I am from Salt Lake City, Utah and I have been going to Cafe Rio for years. Never have I been dismissed so rude from any employee of Cafe Rio until today. I looked at the both of them and told them you know what I am just leaving instead of just having to get in line. I said everyone of you that I have dealt with have been rude! I walked out and I called the Corporate office and explained what had happened. I am a very understanding person if they had been crazy busy I get maybe being a bit short. There were 3 people in line no one at the register and maybe 5 patrons actually eating. So that definitely cannot be an excuse for poor customer service. I Love Cafe Rio, I love their food, but today was SUPER DISAPPOINTING!!! The Area Manager really needs to look into that store and the Customer Service. Hopefully they can get it...
Read moreClearly all the people who has recently been there hasn’t gone at 7:30 at night... yesterday I went into cafe rio to pick up dinner. I was told that the rice wasn’t ready and it would be 10 minutes.. okay. I waited. Once the rice was ready I ordered my food, asked for grilled chicken. They didn’t have it.. you mean the person on the line didn’t check for the other meats that needed a refill while we were all waiting ?? Ok... so the kid said well do you want shredded chicken or steak.. neither I wanted grilled chicken because it’s the only meat of theirs that I like. He acted annoyed and I just got the grilled steak. He started to ask me what I wanted in my salads, the lettuce wasn’t chopped up so I asked for chopped salad not pieces of lettuce, they didn’t have any cheese, guacamole, or chips to put on top of the salad. While I was looking at the line the salad dressing has a whole bunch of other foods inside, the beans on the line look like they have never been switched out. The beans were crusted to the side of the pan. The workers seemed miserable and that they didn’t want to be there. When I was trying to ask for an additional dressing he acted like I was asking for his first born. I waited at this place for 30 minutes and walked out with the worst food possible. I ended up sick that night. I guess I learned my lesson and will never be going back. Sucks because if they weren’t always like this it would be a great place to eat.
