The Hungry HunterThe Hungry Hunter
Walking into Twin Peaks, I was greeted by a lively and welcoming atmosphere. With the bar at full capacity, I opted for a cozy booth toward the back. The clean, well-maintained environment immediately set the stage for what I hoped would be a great meal. The background music was at the perfect volume, providing a pleasant ambiance, though it didn’t quite match the energy of the restaurant. Jasmine, my server, was attentive and friendly, ensuring that I felt well cared for from the start. I began with a lemonade, a refreshingly balanced drink—neither too sweet nor too tart—perfectly quenching without overwhelming. For my appetizer, I ordered the mozzarella cheese bites, served with both ranch and marinara sauce. The marinara added a tangy depth, while the ranch provided a creamy, cooling contrast. The bites were crispy on the outside with a perfectly gooey center, a satisfying way to begin the meal. However, I would have preferred them to arrive before my entrée, rather than alongside it, to truly enjoy them as an appetizer. For my main course, I chose The Smokestack, a towering burger featuring in-house smoked brisket, cheddar cheese, red onions, pickled jalapeños, tomatoes, pickles, cilantro, smoky sweet BBQ sauce, and chipotle mayo. Adding the thicker-cut bacon was a fantastic choice; it elevated the burger’s already robust flavors with its savory richness. Every bite offered a perfect balance of smoky, tangy, and spicy notes. Although there was a brief mix-up with my appetizer—the kitchen initially brought cheesy fries instead of the mozzarella cheese bites—the staff quickly rectified the situation. The mozzarella bites and my burger ended up arriving together, which slightly altered the pacing of the meal but didn’t detract from the excellent quality of the food. The seasoned French fries accompanying the burger were crisp, golden, and well-spiced, making a great complement to the bold flavors of the Smokestack. Twin Peaks excelled in flavor, service, and atmosphere. The burger, in particular, was a standout—a must-try for those who appreciate hearty, smoky dishes. Despite the minor timing issue and the slightly offbeat music choice, this visit confirmed Twin Peaks as a top-tier destination for delicious, satisfying meals.

First time here, and honestly, a great experience from start to finish. We were greeted and seated right away, and the place was spotless. Music wasn’t too loud where we were, though I could see that being different depending on where you sit. They’ve got a huge patio, but we skipped it this time. We were passed between a couple of servers at first (one of them was heading out for the day), but it was handled smoothly—no big deal. Sam ended up being our main server and she was great—friendly, attentive, and on it. I started with the Strawberry Sling (Hendrick’s, Naranja Liqueur, strawberry purée, pineapple & lime juice, orange, Bordeaux cherry), and it was super refreshing—like how a good lemonade should hit on a hot day. The strawberries were sweet, the juices were well-balanced, and I’m not even a gin person, but I’d absolutely get it again. My husband had the classic mule—exactly what you’d expect (Ketel One, Fever Tree Ginger Beer, lime, simple, mint), but it was really well made. Nice kick of ginger, great balance overall. We shared the Avocado Burger (house-made smash, Swiss, red onion, tomato, arugula, chipotle mayo) with seasoned fries, and I added a side of mac & cheese. The burger was excellent. Perfectly cooked, super juicy, and the toppings were fresh and well-portioned. Fries were solid, but the mac and cheese? Absolute star of the show. We weren’t expecting much from a chain spot, but it totally surprised us. Pasta was cooked just right, the cheese sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toasted breadcrumbs on top added the perfect crunch. Everything was seasoned well and came out piping hot. I had a few shots after that—nothing fancy, but they came out quick and cold, which is all I needed. Overall, really solid visit. Food, service, vibe, and prices were all on point. We’ll definitely be back.

Hubby and I were in the area and stopped in for a late dinner. Fabulous waitress (Izzy) and food. The restaurant is sort of wheelchair friendly. There was only one half booth table that I could see that was wheelchair accessible. There are booths where a wheelchair could sit at the end of the table. All the other tables are tall. Our waitress was excellent. Izzy was friendly, bubbly and helpful. We’ll make sure to go back when she’s working. I ordered the Mom’s Pot Roast with mashed potatoes and green beans. Absolutely devine. As delicious as other places I’ve paid more for. Hubby ordered the Chargrilled Salmon with lemon rice pilaf and green beans under the salmon. Hubby said it was delicious. We went there around 8:30 so it wasn’t crowded. It might have been harder to maneuver my wheelchair through the tables if it was crowded. Just be aware that the entrance is not on the parking lot street side where we originally parked. Update 8/27/22 — Went to a late lunch with hubby and friend after car shopping. Izzy was off. The hostess sat us at a booth low enough for my wheelchair. Our waitress, Dashia, was great. Friendly, bubbly and helpful. I ordered the pot roast again. Hubby and friend ordered the blackened fish tacos. My friend loved the salsa and said if TP sold it in bottles she would buy it. Dashia let us sample the queso and if it was sold in bottles I would buy it. Dashia recommended the sundae for dessert. If you love chocolate brownies, then this is the dessert for you. Heavenly. It was a bit crowded because of the games on the TVs, but I was still able to maneuver between the tables. The manager came by to see if we needed anything. He’s friendly and helpful too. Great staff and great food!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Twin Peaks Sports Bar, and I must say, it was an absolute treat for both my taste buds and my sports-loving heart. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for an extraordinary experience.

First and foremost, let's talk about the beer. Oh boy, was it a delight! The ice-cold beers served at Twin Peaks Sports Bar were nothing short of perfection. The bar boasts an impressive selection of beers on tap, and every pint I ordered was refreshingly chilled to perfection. The frosted mugs added an extra touch of elegance and ensured that each sip was an icy delight. Whether you prefer a classic lager or a hoppy IPA, this place has you covered. The dedication to keeping the beer at the ideal temperature truly made a world of difference, elevating the entire drinking experience.

But it's not just the beer that makes Twin Peaks Sports Bar shine; it's the outstanding staff as well. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about creating a welcoming environment for their patrons. They were quick to recommend their personal favorites from the beer menu and engage in friendly banter about the latest sports events. The level of service they provided was unparalleled, and it truly enhanced the overall experience.

The atmosphere at Twin Peaks Sports Bar is an absolute dream come true for sports enthusiasts. With multiple large screens strategically placed throughout the establishment, you won't miss a single moment of the game, no matter where you're seated. The comfortable seating arrangements and well-designed layout ensure that everyone has a great view of the action. The vibrant energy and enthusiasm in the air during game nights are contagious, making it the perfect spot to gather with friends and fellow fans to cheer on your favorite team.

One aspect that truly impressed me was the attention to detail in the bar's overall ambiance. The decor is tastefully done, with sports memorabilia adorning the walls, creating a nostalgic and authentic atmosphere. The dim lighting and cozy seating areas added to the relaxed and enjoyable vibe, making it an ideal place to unwind after a long day.

In conclusion, Twin Peaks Sports Bar is a hidden gem for both beer lovers and sports aficionados. With its ice-cold beers, friendly and attentive staff, and an unbeatable atmosphere, it is undoubtedly a top-tier destination. Whether you're looking to catch the big game, enjoy some delicious brews, or simply have a great time with friends, this place will exceed your expectations. Twin Peaks Sports Bar has certainly earned my highest recommendation, and I cannot wait to return for another...

This is usually my go-to for games and catching up with friends. My drink is almost always poured within moments of me sitting down if not right as I'm arriving. Whitney and Kiara are always a treat behind the bar, with great attitudes, the right amount of sarcasm, and entertainment for days. I also enjoy Kenzie and the stories she has to tell. They're always quick to replenish my drinks - almost to a fault - which is saying something since it is just a coke with grenadine, and there really is little incentive outside of my charming personality to mix a non-alcoholic beverage. They really hustle behind the bar but still make time to catch up or joke from across the way. Rockstars.

Overall, the atmosphere is pretty good, but I've noticed a drop-off in the quality of food lately. The Billionaire's Bacon used to be my go to just about every time, but these days it's been hit and miss and seems like it's been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. I was embarrassed to have to send them back only to have another batch that seemed microwaved. A lot of what I've been receiving recently seems microwaved and not all that fresh.

I was recommended the chicken and shrimp combo recently, and while the flavor was good, the shrimp were nearly inedible - which is a trend I've noticed with much of the food lately - dry and overcooked.

Anything battered and fried tastes like fish, because they must fry it all in the same oil, which doesn't seem from the taste of it that it gets replaced - or the fryer itself cleaned - often.

The other day, we got the triple play. For some reason, they heat up their salsa, and the flavor is not the most appetizing on its own with the chips. The guacamole lacks in flavor, had to ask our server for the salt and pepper shakers as well as some jalapenos, and while that drastically improved it, I still wanted more ingredients to "fix" it. The queso dip was actually more edible when I mixed in some of the strange, hot salsa...I feel like I've made my point here.

The standout for me from the beginning several years ago has generally been the pot roast, but there's only so many times I can eat that. Love the pot roast, but I really want to be able to trust other options for more variety.

Though it make not seem like it, I truly detest complaining, but there are only so many times I can overpay for underwhelming food. I still come here because I enjoy the relationships I've made with the staff and other randoms that show up, but since I've taken a bit of a break from drinking, there is only so much that can distract my attention from the food.

I'll continue coming for now, but please do better in the kitchen. I know you're better than this. Now prove it beyond the insincere canned response you've given the...
