Last message. Owner never called or texed back. Guess my terrible service was either normal or they were to embarrassed to make a minimal effort to resolve my issue. Don't worry, I'll never go back. Follow up to this review. Received email from owner to text their customer web site. I did 5 times . Every time I got 404 page not found. So after 4 phone calls 6 times trying to email the store and web sites. I'm through contacting them. If they want to contact me they have my email address and phone number I tried to resolve this without posting a bad review but it didn't work!! Ticket #9040001 Time received 5:09. No rolls available for take out? Called store to ask why no rolls. Kathy answered, sent me to take out desk. Waited 4 min no one answered. Called back Kathy again sent me to take out desk. Again waited 3 min no one answered. Cancelled order. Waited 15 min. Called one last time. Kathy answered put a manager on phone (female didn't remember her name)Explained problem. Apologized and was very nice. She said ( I'll be looking for the order and the rolls will be on us since you have had such a problem with ordering) I said great thank you! When I arrived i texted Here #4 Can you put extra "Regular Butter" in bag please ?The order finally came out to car. The guy said $4.95. I said what for ,he said It's for the rolls. I told him the manager said they were on her and should not be a charge. He said, inside there wouldn't be but on to go orders there is. I just paid the amount and left. Looked at ticket. Was charged $2.49 for rolls and $1.98 for extra butter, but the butter wasn't regular but cinnamon butter. I called again (4 th call ) spoked to Rachel a manager. Explained the problem again. She apologized etc. and said I could come back and get extra rolls or she could text me something to make up for the issue and it would take her 10 to 15 minutes to text it to me.I gave her my email address letter by letter. Read moreStarted out okay with our drink order taken and delivered timely. Bread and salads arrived timely also. When I received my steak is when it turned horrible. Someone other than my waitress dropped off our food and then promptly left. No one came back in the professional 3 to 5 minutes to check and make sure we weren’t missing anything in our order, condiments needed or on the quality of our food. I ordered my steak medium and according to their menu it should have arrived with a warm pink center. First off, it was half as thick as my wife’s steak who ordered the same cut and weight. The outside was completely black and burnt. I cut into it in the middle and it was brown throughout. Not a tick of pink like it should have been. There was no way I could have eaten it. I am normally dead set against sending food back from working in the industry for 13 years due to what happens when you do. I thought I would risk it and when my waitress would return, I would request a new steak. Well, 25 minutes later she or for that fact , anyone returned to our table. I pointed out that my steak was burnt and way over cooked. She offered a new steak but since the other 6 members of my family were now finished with their meals I declined and requested to have it just removed from my bill. I thought it was strange that while waiting for our waitress to return, a woman approached the table behind us that had 2 women who hadn’t been there maybe 5 minutes. She introduced herself as the manager and told them, if there was anything they needed to let her know. She unfortunately never glanced in our direction. After our waitress left, a different last order than our waitress or other manager I observed came to our table and offered to cook another steak. Now it was a good 45 minutes after our food was delivered so I declined again. When our bill arrived, the steak has been removed. Then she brought me an electronic device to self pay by bill. I laughed because it was highlighted with a 25% gratuity which is what I normally tip because of my past work history. I left and there’s no way I I will ever return. Read moreThe food was really good. My husband and I both got the 8oz filet and 2 sides. I do have to say I found my loaded mashed potato's to be a little disappointing. I don't know if it is just me but I didn't enjoy the cold shredded cheese atop my side. The mashed potato's were not very warm or hot therfore did not feel fresh. This may just be me but I did not want it and went to scrape off all of my toppings. Our server Chloe was really helpful though. She did notice and asked me what the problem was, was very polite and offered to bring me a new one which I agreed. The next one was better but I still feel Texas Roadhouse could have done better on it.
Now the rest of the food was amazing though! I by no means had a bad meal. Just 1 side I didn't care for. My baked potato was delicious as well as my husband's buttered corn.
Our server Chloe checked on us often. We never had to wave her down and she was fast and effecient and had really great server skills being kind, helpful, friendly and worked well.
As for the atmosphere. I am giving 4 stars simply because I found it very overwhelming. This is something I struggle with from being socially anxious so what bothered me might not be an issue to anyone else. The restaurant was VERY full. It was noisy and people were moving quickly all over. It won't prevent me from returning but I wish it felt a little more relaxing.
The decor is lovely. It feels that mostly everyone there that night was hard working. I watched employees doing their job quickly and really well. I found it quite impressing.
