If my daughter had not loved her cotton candy with gummy bear cone, this would have been a 1 star review. Service was an absolute disappointment! There were three in my family and I had searched the online menus before arriving so we knew exactly what we wanted to order to make things quicker. Within 10 minutes they began our order with my daughter's come. Because the in-store menu doesn't exactly match the online menu, I asked if they make the majestic shakes. It took three people to say yes they can make one. One from the back explained to another worker how to make it but she couldn't find the "already made frozen" cups. Another worker found a cup and complained about them not being ready. She dipped it into buttercream icing and added the chocolate sprinkles. The other lady working told her it should have been a different topping and she shrugged her shoulders and mumbled something along the lines of "oh well." I told her buttercream was fine as it was my favorite icing. The other workers did not one time ask my husband what he would like to order while my shake was being made and then motioned him to the cash register to pay. While at the cash register, a man from the back came out and commented on how much they cost and another worker then said oh yeah it's a $15 shake. I couldn't care less how much the shake was going to cost or I would have asked from the beginning. My taste buds were set on a gourmet shake and this should have hit the spot. My husband let me know that they never took his order so he wouldn't be ordering now that this conversation had taken place. We went outside to enjoy what we were able to order and the shake was a bland tasting mess. Very overtop presentation but it had absolutely no flavor aside from the toppings. The brownie on top and buttercream around the rim were the best parts of the...
Read moreBy far my worst experience in an ice cream place. Passed it on the way back from dinner, google searched the menu and saw they offered Yogurt. I’m lactose intolerant and was thrilled to see a place right around the corner from our cabin offered dairy free options. Upon walking in, the young girl with glasses and a ponytail working (didn’t catch her name, no name tag on I’m assuming so she can’t be identified), greets us with a “Sup”. Super professional and friendly way to greet a family! I ask about the yogurt since I don’t see it anywhere. In response, this same ray of sunshine makes a stink face at me. Then, she says to one of the other young kids working “Yo, do we have yogurt?”, to which he responds “I don’t think so…”. Do you not know what you serve? Then, the same stank faced girl proceeds to attempt to convince me to just order ice cream from there as opposed to going elsewhere for dairy free. I have a lactose problem and no offense it doesn’t matter how good your product is, which you don’t even seem to know what you have anyways, the dairy will still bother me! Idiot. Then, my brother orders his shake. Same summer peach responds to him by rolling her eyes and walking away to go make it. Needless to say, majority of the party didn’t order anything and we left. Beyond disgusted by this behavior and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Unless, of course, you enjoy being eye rolled at by stank faced ignorant teenagers when you go out...
Read moreOur girls were really excited about watching the magic of ice cream being mixed. The one young man who has dark hair tonight was pleasant. The second young man, he was blonde, wasn't at all. He was annoyed with life, I guess. Irritated with how many customers they had, which was a lot. They were super busy tonight. They didn't have the second flavor I wanted, and instead of going to get it from the freezer, he just said we don't have enough of that. I was like, ok. Then he added the mixing that I wanted, was talking to the other boy about something. Wasn't speaking to me. Handed me my ice cream that he very sloppily put in the cup. There was ice cream everywhere. The receipt machine ran out of paper and he got irritated with that saying he couldn't ring people up bc there was no paper. Took him 10mins to fix that. Finally after ralking loudly about how stupid that was he went back to being irritated with customers. The thing that got me the most is that neither of them had GLOVES on at any point with any customer while they were preparing ice cream. Very...
