I recently moved to the area, and made the mistake of going to this Dunkin's. The young lady at the drive thru window handed me my coffee, and the top was not secure, and popped right off, resulting in coffee spilling all over my hand. This coffee was scalding hot. I ended up with a 2nd degree burn, with blisters and the skin peeling back. It was pretty bad. I reached out to their corporate as an fyi because this is not the first time the lids have just popped off; although this was the first time it resulted in a serious burn for me. Corporate responded that the store would reach out to me within 48 hours, so I gave it 4 days any way, but no response. I reached back out to corporate, but this time I sent them photos of my hand. Within hours of that, I received a call from a Sandy at the store. She said the store owner had reached out to me (they hadn't and still haven't). I told Sandy I was leaving work early to go to Urgent Care for my hand because it wasn't getting better. She told me to send her pics of my hand, and to send her my Urgent Care bill. She also said that since the renovations, their coffee has been extra hot, and that they had an issue as well with the lids, and it was a manufacturer problem that was being resolved. Sandy said she was also retraining staff on securing lids and how to hand coffees over. I went to Urgent Care, and sent Dunkin's all my paperwork, but no one has ever responded to me. I've reached out several times since then to Corporate, but I've not heard one thing back from them. The original incident...
Read moreSo we go this morning for 3 everything bagels, toasted, 2 with cream cheese, and 1 with half butter and half cream cheese. Apparently fractions are too difficult because we get home to discover that my bagel actually has a thick layer of cream cheese spread all over both sides of the bagel with an equally thick layer of butter spread over both sides... like, I get this is 'Murica, and we love to clog our arteries, but literally no one thought that combination was disgusting and probably incorrect? Here are a few options that I would have accepted: #1 literally one half (also called a side) with butter, one half (aka, side) with cream cheese. #2 same as #1, and go ahead and put the two together so there is only some mixing of the two. #3 cut the bagel in half (technically fourths at this point, again, fractions, I know they're tricky little bastards) and spread cream cheese top and bottom on half, spread butter top and bottom the other half. #4 ask me what the heck I meant by half butter and half cream cheese!! but instead I got served a monster of a bagel that I had to scrape off all the contents because who the hell wants to eat solid butter and cream cheese together?! the kicker of this story? we were just at publix about to buy bagels, but I was like, "no hubby, I'm really craving dunkin donuts bagels" so we left a place where we could've gotten 6 bagels for 2$ to make at home and everything would've been perfect, to instead spend 7$ for 2 decent bagels and 1 complete and...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would! I should have saw the first red flag when I first walked in. I came in to place an order-no greeting no anything, just a look like I wasn't supposed to be there. When I asked for a price, the girl said to me rudely, "you can see the prices right there." I then proceeded to attempt to order and she tells me she won't be able to help me until I pay (mind you she has handed coffee and other items to "others" before me without them paying first. So I ended up telling her that I feel it's discriminating behavior and to just cancel my order. As I was pulling out I saw someone running behind my car trying to take my tag number. This is what let me further know how this store handles minority customers. So I returned and asked what the problem was and what reason was it to take my tag number down only because I said I felt discriminated against. The employees then proceeded to begin snickering and whispering with the other Caucasian customers and employees which just added insult to injury. I'm reading the reviews and I see that a lot of others have experienced this same issue. I wouldn't pay a dog to come into this store and spend money and I advise other minority customers to not do so as well. I have also sent a copy of the recording to corporate, and will be contacting the franchise owner as well as social media so everyone can see how this...
