I am over the days that they cannot hire and staff our stores properly. I entered the establishment and was NOT greeted with "Welcome to Firehouse", rather, I was completely ignored. There were two employees diligently making sandwiches and not acknowledging me. I tried calling in my order and no one picked up the phone (might as well remove the phone numbers from the web). I tried logging into my account on my phone to order on the way to the store, but there is some new system where you have to sit for 10 minutes and wait for a code to come through your inbox (which happens to go to the junk box). I couldn't never get logged into my account. Mind you, I use this account weekly for home and work. Did I mention that I tried to order at the counter where it says, "ORDER HERE"? OH yes, and I was ignored for 10 minutes. My daughter went to the restroom and came back and I was still being ignored. Then I asked, how long is the wait. Nothing, I got no answer. The poor guy couldn't even give me a guess as to how long it was going to take. Okay, fine, I leave. I am still stewing about this several days later. My family religiously spends $40-50 at this establishment on a weekly basis. Then I got to thinking, I bet those people have not removed their gloves and washed their hands in hours (due to the high volume). Their health score is not great 94% and I am a little disgusted as to how dirty the overall appearance looked. The counters are cluttered. The doors haven't been cleaned. There are dirty tables everywhere. I am still asking, where is the manager, where is the owner, what is going on with this place? It baffles me that I cannot call in an order nor can I order at the counter (this is not the first time this has happened either). I left without ordering and am not sure if I am ever going back. They need to pay better and maybe they will be able to keep staff ( I happened to find their hiring page and they don't pay well for new staff). It is really sad to watch this establishment...
Read moreI ordered delivery through Exy-es. I paid for a brownie, did not receive it. I requested no dressing on the Italian sub, just on the side. The bottom buns were soaked with dressing that I had to use 2 spatulas to move both halves of the sandwiches. I had to use a knife and fork in order to eat a portion. When I called FH Subs and spoke to the manager she was EXTREMELY rude and placed the blame on the driver, told me she wouldn't refund me, saying the driver was responsible for checking the order. NO, the person making the order at the restaurant is responsible for ensuring everything is correct. She said she'd remake the order, I explained to her that I had to take meds immediately after having hip surgery and couldn't wait for another delivery. Impossible because the delivery service was closing within 10 minutes, and I'd have to pay the same amount again and have Ezeyes refund the money. She also said the driver was "as high as a kite" when she came to get the order. If she was so "high", why would she let the driver leave with an order for delivery? I found the driver to be polite, courteous and not under the influence of anything. This manager either needs some serious re-training or being fired. She then hung up on me after I asked for the/her manager's name! I'll be contacting FH Subs Corporate about this horrific and non-existent and completely RUDE customer service. Read moreI came in our of the child 4 rain on a walker with an eye patch..both piece unique accessories new to me & very Awkward & strange. A member of the staff immediately raced to the door to help me enter. Then she saw I was struggling with my backpack & placed it at perfect table for me to sit & eat. She & the young man behind the counter went way over of their way to help me determine what I wanted on my sub as I couldn't read either the paper menu or board well with one eye. ( aka Pirates of the Caribbean eye patch). Ok top of all that they not only made the PERFECT SUB they carried it to my table & practically served it to me. It was a terribly rough day for me & these individual PICKED UP MY SPIRITS & WERE MY RESCUE RANGERS! I BELIEVE THEY REPRESENT THE EXACT CHARACTER & ACTIONS OF WHAT ALL FIREMEN & WOMEN DO EVERYDAY. They just happen to do it in the FIRE HOUSE SUBS SHOP. My kudos. Sincere thanks & respect go out to these individuals & Fire House Subs for employing them. I'm sorry to say because of the condition I was in & my thoughts solely on eating I failed to leave any kind of tip for the staff. I did round up my purchase for the fund raising efforts which I fully support but them forgot the staff. I hope somehow this feedback gets to this location manager & he or she are able to determine which individuals so gallantly came to my aid. For all I know it could've been the entire staff as honestly I could barely see anything or anyone clearly. It's my sincere hope they are recognized appropriately & hopefully publicly.
