I placed an order online for delivery. 40 minutes later there is no update to my order so I call. The employee tells me they are “wicked slammed” with orders and only have one delivery driver but my order has been ready and will go out soon. So I ask if I can pick it up. After “consulting with the manger” for several minutes while I’m placed on hold, I’m told it will take longer to get my order if I come into the store since they are so busy. I remind him they told me my order was ready, which leads more “consulting with the manager”. After 10 minutes on the phone I’m finally told they are out of bread and the manager is out buying more bread. Awful service. No appreciation for customers. Totally dishonest. Read moreSO disappointed. I have eaten at several JJ's locations around Charlotte and this was by far the worst experience I've had. To start with, they've raised their prices by almost $2 per sandwich! You would think for that much of an increase, the quality would be better, or at least the same. Nope. We ordered 2 of the "giant" clubs, which were nothing but two slices of meat and cheese, thick, stale bread, and about a pound of lettuce. And they forgot the mustard. The pickle (which they charge $1.50 for!) looked like it had been sitting in the jar since the beginning of time. But hey, at least they're fast, right? Wrong. Ordered online and food was here pretty fast, however, the bread was hard as a rock on the top and soggy on the bottom (I had a Country Club) and the lettuce was brown. I added bacon to the sandwich (for a steep 1.75-- but hey bacon makes everything better...) and couldn't chew it. As for the service, the delivery person had their music up loud with subs and while he was nice enough to close his car door so that it was muffled while he delivered my food, I still find it to be rude. I read reviews about other Jimmy John's locations where the delivery person acted in a similar manner- but had hoped that because it was a different location that I would have a better experience.
